USB 2.0 provides up to 0.5 amperes of current.
Can I connect several USB cables/ports in parallel from SINGLE computer to have more than 0.5 A?
Or this has no sense since single computer shares power between different USB ports anyway?
I have been advised to use a USB Y cable to power a portable hard drive from 2 ports since it could not draw enough power from a single port. Is there any danger of overloading the drive this way?
@Mokubai From what I can tell, the vast majority are certain that it sucks. Both reviewers (except those who are paid off by Sony, like PC Mag) as well as fans are generally panning the game for not delivering on promises, horrid performance on console and PC, and bugs.
There are only a few really crazy people who can find a good game underneath all that horseshit. And even they will be bored of it in a week or two.
@Mokubai Nah. At least with games like Star Wars Battlefront, and such, there are legitimate reasons to like the game. Great graphics and voiceovers and Star Wars aesthetic, for example. (And it wasn't too buggy or slow on most machines.)
It's all well and good having the bleeding edge to develop for fringe beast rigs, but if you can't make it work well on a smegging console where the hardware is consistent then you don't deserve a good rig.
