@allquixotic: never mind. Not even CyanogenMod is free of these audio dropouts. Given a few minutes with the screen off, I get intermittent stuttering.
You are not alone, @allquixotic. I can reproduce your Android Bluetooth audio dropouts.
I got banned from editing and the only information I got was
It be helpful to get information about the duration of the ban (which other users seem to get and link the formula which led to the ban for better understanding. Currently it feels like a "an error occured" message. I had to ask a se...
conspiracy theory: could be related to classified spying that only Apple knows how to bypass far more likely: Verizon installs crapware on every Verizon phone that does this
Okay. If my phone's screen is off, it hangs when I hold the call button on my headset and I tell Google Now to call someone, and I need to soft-reset the phone. Any ideas?
@bwDraco I don't have the same experience -- my Note 4, Galaxy S5 and Droid Maxx would do it even without a case
and my iPhone never does it even in an Otterbox Defender or now my battery case
I have to physically separate my headphones from the iPhone by at least 7 or 8 meters before I start to notice any problems -- as long as the phone is somewhere on my person it's fine
I really wish NAA flags would be automatically canceled when the post is edited, I just got another declined flag from somebody fixing an answer between my flag and its review -_-
welp. Old Anker power bank has one USB port shorted at low current so unit is stuck on with some heat (not a dangerous amount of heat, though) and will discharge itself. Guess it's time to retire it...
The failed port is reading 3.5V indicating an internal low-current short.
At least the power bank shuts down when charging...
I just had a terrible tragedy at my home. hours & hours ago my landlord (and good friend) died in his sleep. he was recovering from a (second) knee operation.
he was really old dude, but he was doing ok when he came back from the (kaiser) hospital, totally unexpected, and right there in my face as i tried to do CPR, brain explode.
You can buy everything you need to build your own house there.
@JourneymanGeek We used to have those as well. Small specialist shops. They mostly all went bust when the big boys came along with their lower prices and permanent "sales"
@DavidPostill there's one really good small store, and a pair of chains, still nothing's really big. Rumours are that there's places where you can get wood out in the industrial parks
Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of at least 113 active cannabinoids identified in cannabis. It is a major phytocannabinoid, accounting for up to 40% of the plant's extract. CBD is considered to have a wide scope of potential medical applications - due to clinical reports showing the lack of side effects, particularly a lack of psychoactivity (as is typically associated with ∆9-THC), and non-interference with several psychomotor learning and psychological functions.

The Sydney central business district (also Sydney CBD, and popularly referred to as "town" or "the City") is a suburb and the main commercial centre of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It extends southwards for about 3 km (2 mi) from Sydney Cove, the point of first European settlement in which the Sydney region was initially established. Due to its pivotal role in Australia's early history, it is one of the oldest established areas in the country.
Geographically, its north–south axis runs from Circular Quay in the north to Central railway station in the south. Its east–west axis runs from a...
A Central Business District (CBD) is the commercial and business centre of a city. In larger cities, it is often synonymous with the city's "financial district". Geographically, it often coincides with the "city centre" or "downtown", but the two concepts are separate: many cities have a central business district located away from its commercial or cultural city centre or downtown. Both the CBD and the city centre or downtown may also coincide with the central activities district.
A city's CBD is usually typified by a concentration of retail and office buildings. The CBD usually has an urban density...
Hmm "London's "city centre" is usually regarded as encompassing the historic City of London and the medieval City of Westminster, whereas the City of London and the transformed Docklands area are regarded as its two CBDs. "
I have been been banned from the Super User chatrooms for a reason that doesn't even make sense (I've been told this is some historical decision relating to a past ban from the English Language and Usage main site (not the chat portion)) which has now, for reasons unspecified, been extended to th...
@ArtOfCode I'm pretty sure he was talking in chat.SE just a day or two ago... don't know when the EL&U suspension happened. Maybe caching? — Bob1 min ago
My answer for SE weirdness: always blame the caching.
I'd guess the EL&U ban was on June 6th, assuming 1 year ban..?
Copacabana (local and standard Portuguese pronunciation: [kɔpakɐˈbɐ̃nɐ] or [kɔpɐkaˈbɐ̃nɐ], (rarely [kɔpakaˈbɐ̃nɐ] and [kopɐkaˈbɐ̃nɐ] in other Brazilian dialects) is a bairro (neighbourhood) located in the South Zone of the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It is known for its 4 km balneario beach or 2.5 miles , which is one of the most famous in the world.
== History ==
The district was originally called Sacopenapã (translated from the Tupi language, it means "the way of the socós (a kind of bird)") until the mid-18th century. It was renamed after the construction of a chapel holding a replica of...
Ipanema (Portuguese pronunciation: [ipaˈnẽmɐ]) is an affluent neighbourhood located in the South Zone of the city of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), between Leblon and Arpoador. The beach at Ipanema became widely known by the song "The Girl from Ipanema" ("Garota de Ipanema"), written by Antônio Carlos Jobim and Vinícius de Moraes.
== Etymology ==
The word "Ipanema" comes from the Tupi language and possibly means "stinky lake", from upaba ("lake") and nem ("stinky") or "bad water; river without fish" from "y" (water) and "panema" (bad).
== History ==
Most of the land that Ipanema consists of today once...
@Oded You know what, the above rationale is total bollocks. I've figured out what it was. It's because people in Super User were teaching me about ethical hacking. The Super User chat is the same chat server. This has nothing to do with English Language and Usage whatsoever, at least not directly. — Peter David Carter-Poulsen2 hours ago
@DavidPostill Since none of us actually suspended him, smart money's on letting him deal with it his way. Of course, if he goes wierd on here , do what you gotta do
@JourneymanGeek I'm on dAmn, stackexchange, reddit, freenode and a ton of other places. For me, it's hard to keep connected. WA is dynamic and OTT is preferred over SMS in my side of the world. The hard part is getting interested people together.
@Nick I'm on 2 slack chatrooms and a gitter room which are overflow from here
bunch of IRC channels - most of which kinda are petering out since the websites they were assosiated with died
"The hard part is getting interested people together."
Exactly
and well
I think if you threw a cat in this channel, it'll likely mangle someone with the technical skills to actually set up stuff. The community building part is hard
It's a G+ community but it's like a private space for projects and stuff. The app makes it good. It mostly aimed at link sharing. It's a closed garden, yeah.
You should hang out with my info sec nerds on our private irc network, most of my friends work for companies that study malware and work for security firms
