WCF is super awesome for .NET IPC

You can transport over named pipes, TCP, HTTP, and probably others, and all you have to do is declare your methods and data formats in an interface

Unrelatedly, does anybody here know how to wrangle the Windows 10 upgrade into working? I've tried everything I found on the Internet and nothing has helped

Delete sub keys of Mounted Images and check.

a. Press Windows key and R key together.

b. Type in regedit and press enter.

c. Go to the following location and delete sub keys of Mounted Images.

Browse to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WIMMount\Mounted Images"

Someone claimed that fixed their Windows 10 upgrade.

Some people also suggest it is lack of disk space. "if you encounter another error such as below with code 0xC1420127 during the upgrading, check the free space on your C: drive to make sure it has at least 50 GB of free space left." although that was for Windows 10 preview.

For giggles, this is the measurement report for the laptop's display in its uncalibrated state: fierydragonlord.com/displaycal/B156HW01%20uncalibrated.html

Average CIE 2000 delta E of 6.68. Ouch.

Wide gamut does not mean accurate colors. It only means that the display can render a wide range of colors.

Sager claimed 95% NTSC gamut coverage, and the colorimeter confirms it, but the colors were horrendous until the display was calibrated.

Bluish tinge through.

As expected, the greens were way off.

Come to think of it: DisplayCAL reports 90.77% Adobe RGB coverage. To be honest, this is far better than most. I wonder what Clevo did to achieve this number, because this isn't attainable without using backlighting technologies normally reserved for professional displays.

(Panel is an AU Optronics B156hw01 V.4. It's a TN panel, but a lot better than most.)

Backlight is WLED, not RGB LED (which is very expensive from what I've read).

I guess it comes down to their use of high-grade parts.
