Why do DCI (real) 4K monitors still not exist under $1k? It seems you can have all of them you want if you're fine with UHD. - Why can't I buy a 27" iScreen and have it be more like +9k? I want the DPI of an iPhone, the same size as my computer monitor. Would that be in more like the +$10k range? ;)

Most buyers of DCI are probably companies, where budgets are much less sensitive to "a few thousand dollars here and there" to get what they want. Most consumers will go to Best Buy and pick up the cheapest thing with a big "4K" sticker on it. They don't care if they're missing a few pixels.
