Why would they do that? its not like doctors have to communicate or anything...

So... 5:19 AM in the morning, back from a undercrowded party, completely you-know-what. What do I do? ^^
Weird thing is that I realized that it's TS' birthday... I'm too much of a fan of her I guess.

Q: DX Treme Tablet auto turn off disable

BobI have a DX Treme Android Table. I have a 32Gb music hard drive attached, is there any way to disable the Tablet auto off function at the end of only one album from the HD? It takes another 10 minutes to switch it back on...

Eh well, enough editing... I don't think I made any typos, but I think if I continue I would. Night everyone that's still here. :)

hmm
what is JIRA, and why do we get a load of questions on it?
@JourneymanGeek it is a bug tracking tool
very useful in large scale applications
Woo! Always fun learning something new:

Q: Right click to open file in localhost

jasondavisOne task that I do all day that is very annoying is working on files and moving them around or adding new files to a folder in my localhost dev server and then I have to go to the browser and navigate to get to the file. I would assume there has to be a way to be able to add a right click contex...

08:36
@soandos JIRA's not only used for bug tracking, I use it in my team for sprint planning
Got it, sorry to have oversimplified
not an oversimplification at all :) just provided another case where it's used
I'd say a lot of questions about JIRA wouldn't be on topic for Super User though...
since it's a web app by nature
09:23
@iglvzx Heavy work-around though...
You can specify %1 in the registry entry too, which inserts the file name in your command when it calls it, then access it with %1% without concatenation.
Turns it into a 4 - 5 line script, similar to a batch file one would write.
Hmm, seems I only catched 5 hours of sleep... o_O
Blame the 6 - 11 Beaufort winds and rain outside, I sleep right under the roof.
09:38
@TomWijsman Thanks for the tip! I will rewrite the script to make it better.
@iglvzx Didn't know about that AutoHotkey could do that, but I had a batch file in mind when reading through that question so it made me wonder.
10:04
@TomWijsman Good catch. I think I finally got it.
1
A: Right click to open file in localhost

iglvzxWe can accomplish this by editing the Registry and by using AutoHotkey. I called my script OpenAsLocalhost.ahk, and used similar names for my example. Compile the following AutoHotkey script: file = %1% server = C:\ StringReplace, url, file, %server%, http://localhost/ StringReplace, url, url...

@iglvzx: Yeah, that looks like it should work. :)
@TomWijsman Yeah. I'm gonna use this script for myself, too. :) I just started learning AutoHotkey, and I'm loving it.
10:46
@iglvzx I prefer AutoIt myself, AutoHotkey came later and is basically a rip off... :D
But it got more well-known, which is strange.

My print screen tool is saying that it can't bind to control+printscreen at start - Is there anyway to see what is bound to it? I tried that combo and nothing is coming up

my experiment is having interesting results
/me purposely did not answer any questions (cause i was too busy). Apparently i've gotten to the point where i get rep from questions i FORGOT i answered ;p

Q: Changing CSS values with "Inspect Elements" in Google Chrome

titusI'm trying to figure out how to change CSS styles in Google inspector, I can tweak HTML, PHP code, but not stylesheets. I'm on Debian, might it be a problem with the Google Chrome version? I'm using Chrome version 5.0.375.127.

I've entered that question in my duplicate searcher I'm writing and it returned:
211259 - 3 - Google chrome Inspect Element change css values
Which is basically my cached copy of that question. :D
Dunno why there are 3 matched, should be more, gotta look into the comparison some more. o_O
Or well, let's not count matches. I have a better idea... :D
Original title: Changing CSS values with Inspect Elements in Google Chrome

211259 - 57% - Google chrome Inspect Element change css values
52967 - 50% - Change default CSS of Google Chrome
279360 - 43% - How to change fonts in website using inspect element of google chrome?
314900 - 40% - phpMyAdmin in Google Chrome
The three first matches are interesting, the fourth just only matches Google Chrome.
This algorithm sees Element VS Elements as only a tiny difference in similarity.
Original title: Changing CSS values with Inspect Elements in Google Chrome

211259 - 71% - Google chrome Inspect Element change css values
4640 - 50% - What is the "Inspect Element" feature in Google Chrome?
108769 - 50% - Changing location in Google Chrome when searching
52967 - 50% - Change default CSS of Google Chrome
321542 - 46% - Changing the display/sort order of downloads in Google Chrome
255811 - 46% - Why is Google Chrome home page changing spontaneously?
208225 - 46% - Google Chrome Portable: Changing the default language
Down from 3.802 to 2.844 seconds to generate that.

40 grenades have been thrown on a Christmas market place, then started shooting at random people
2 dead, 64 injured, about 7 heavily injured
This video is at the place where it happened, be warned as it involves some blood / body.
Pretty weird that he got his hands on that material, must have involved stealing / import from far away...
15:08
CNN is covering it.
Automatic fire, first killer shot himself.
There might be a second attacker still running around.
Hmm, CNN is quite delayed. Man has been identified, they don't belief there is a second one anymore, killer has been identified and his house is being searched, it's not linked with terrorism / court case.
15:49
I'm gathering some stats -any of you >10k guys can tell me how many of the 323 SF->SU migrations are shown as rejected please
16:15
@Iain What do you mean by that? Is there actually a way to reject migrations?
@TomWijsman not directly (that I'm aware of) but on the SF Tools->Migrated->stats page on the incoming migrations I can see a rejected %
I haven't found out how something is rejected - best guess is they are closed within a certain time but that's just a guess
@TomWijsman thanks
Okay, I think my duplicate finder is kind of working...

Q: Install dependencies for a dpkg package?

ajsieI have a dpkg file that i want to install. But I get error messages that it is depending on other packages. I used: dpkg -i file.dpkg Is there a way to install dependencies automatically without having to use apt-get/aptitude (the latest version of this dpkg wasnt available)

And various fixes like where both questions where already closed as a duplicate, it should then not show them.
17:14
Hi! :D
Oh hi!
1000 questions take 820 seconds, painful but quite optimized :D
@TomWijsman What? :P
@BloodPhilia I'm working on a duplicate finder...
@TomWijsman Oh! How is it going (:?
Well, determination whether it could be a possible duplicate is pretty well. Just need to move away from the "top 10 results" to a GUI that gets filled while the algorithm is running.
Then I just make a button where I mark a duplicate suggestion as seen, so I can progress through the list.
17:19
@TomWijsman okay :o
Or, I improve the algorithm in such way that it works incrementally and I upload it weekly to a web-based GUI.
I hate my bank
Downloading all SU questions takes 174 seconds... (Yes, I am using the API)
That isn't a lot...
Yeah, it's reasonable.
17:40
Well, enough for today...
Also made me think about how to implement my aggregator, because it's very similar.

1 hour later…
18:41
@TomWijsman, have you considered running it on a data dump?

1 hour later…
19:46
@soandos Why do I have to run it on a data dump if I can get daily data?

Guys - Just heard of a new bundle deal - intermediaware.com/bundle - I am going to pay for it... You get one free thing for a friend... Anyone who I talk to here often want it?
@TomWijsman @SimonSheehan @JourneymanGeek ... only people I see online... ping ^^
Very kind of you to offer @WilliamHilsum, but ill pass :_ thanks anyway
hehe, ok!
Anyone else... If I have talked to you a lot... you qualify! Just don't see many people online :(
@WilliamHilsum: I'm passing too.
hehe... beginning to think these games are not worth it!
I don't think they are that good, I just fancy that space one... a little... maybe I shouldn't bother!
bah... they do look rubbish... I don't think I will pay!
22:19
Hi people (:
22:55
Is there a chrome extension that helps find duplicate questions within SU and also all of SE?
I've seen it, but I can't find it anywhere.
23:12
Ugh... Is my pagefile supposed to be fragmented over the whole disk?
