the Nehalem die shrink was somewhat of a ugly redheaded stepchild -- there was basically ZERO marketing around it -- thing is, Intel was huge about selling the public on Sandy Bridge (and boy did they; look at all the commodity hw that went out as Sandy!) and they knew that the die shrink wasn't going to bail out Nehalem

I remember around that time noticing that Intel was eerily silent about new product announcements for an uncomfortably long time

they could have just as easily slapped an X8 into the Moto G and probably fit within the size/power constraints just fine, since it also runs in the Droid Mini

JS, surprisingly, only allows true/false for actual booleans (though you can really assign anything to the var)

C has well-defined true/false states, though I suppose you do get a kind of "unknown" if you fail to initialise it - unknown until you read it

An actual third state "maybe" is different from an unknown state.

@JourneymanGeek Well, yes, it is, by the Google Framework or whatnot. But far from optimal. It won't try to connect to the nearest wifi, or auto-activate 3G, if it enters "stolen mode". It won't warn you if a new SIM card is inserted. Prey says it survives a factory reset, but I haven't tested it. A friend stats Cerberus can survive ROM flashing (!!!), but I haven't tested it (duh!)
