A: Was the storming of the US Capitol orchestrated by Antifa and BLM Organisers?

HarabeckFacial Recognition False, this comes from a mistaken news article that has since been corrected. A news outlet that reported that a facial recognition company identified members of Antifa among the mob that stormed the U.S. Capitol has now apologised and issued a correction. Screenshots featurin...

That CNN list doesn't include John Sullivan founder of a far left group. He recorded on video tape and was one of the first ones in and he threatened capital police with a knife.
Regarding the Inside Job paragraph. Colorado Representative Lauren Boebert has been accused of live tweeting the security arrangements within the building to assist the Trump supporting attackers. bostonglobe.com/2021/01/12/nation/…
@user2617804 One guy from the left, who has no known association with BLM or antifa. Must be the world's best organiser if he orchestrated the entire riot...
@EricNolan That source is paywalled, here's one that ain't: independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/…
@user2617804 John Sullivan / ActivistJohn does not actually represent any of the movements he claims to. His motivations aren't fully clear, but in short, he's a liar / impostor. More info: twitter.com/RebellionBaby/status/1349717938803142656
Here is more information about Sullivan. He is self-described BLM. Insurgence USA is his activist organization and he was arrested at a BLM protest in July 2020, when someone was shot and killed. The FBI has arrested him twitter.com/amuse/status/1349865669383356419

Wasn't there one Trumpist who falsely identified as Antifa? Or did I mis-remember?
@user2617804 no matter the protest, I'm sure you will get at least a handful of people from the other side taking advantage of the situation. And if that protest turns into a riot, those are the people the organizers generally try to blame.
@user2617804: As of today, Sullivan is listed on the CNN page. It doesn't describe his affiliations, though.
@PCLuddite that's the problem with "side"-thinking and strictly assigning everyone to one of them. Some are just in for the insurrection /anti-establishment part - with whatever "side" that fight is, as long as somehow "the establishment" is the target. Like some online trolls are "just in for the lulz", no matter who they bully.
It seems pretty clear that nobody wanted anything to do with John Sullivan, with local BLM leaders denouncing him and warning others not to work with him since last year (example proof in the form of a Twitter thread from months ago, well before he entered the capitol). I can't say whether he's a right-wing agent provocateur, grifter, attention-seeker, accelerationist, or just likes being involved in whatever's happening, or maybe a bit of everything.
It's not so much BLM/Antifa folks orchestrated the push into the Capitol as much as antagonized it into fruition. Much like the BLM protests earlier this year... many started out peaceful until a few antagonizers spun the crowd into a violent, destructive mass. Various reports are indicating the same type of approach at the Capitol with confirmed antifa "members" present and raising the temperature. At some point, it boils over. Unfortunately, at this point, information is still uncertain (despite the pundits claims) as to exactly who was present and who started what.

@ZachLipton Bingo. John Sullivan (aka: Jayden X is nothing more than an opportunist who sees himself as a neutral “reporter” capturing footage from both sides. The clown just wants to cash in on chaos. If you watch any of his videos, he’s clearly far from being a leader… He is a simply an edge-lord remora follower of chaos. He embeds himself into protests to capture footage to gain “fame” from that. The idea he could instigate anything is a joke. Just look at the sheer size of the crowd this was clearly not the case of an agent provocateur
@mikem Feel free to write your own answer, unfortunately I don't think there is any basis for your claim.
@mikem “Various reports are indicating the same type of approach at the Capitol with confirmed antifa "members" present and raising the temperature.” Ridiculous. Your whole logic is Antifa pumped up protestors at the U.S. Capitol. The only ones who definitely did that were Drumpf and his comrades like Rudy Giuliani who literally shouted “…trial by combat!” to the crowd. Additionally, if the protest was “peaceful” until “Antifa” showed up how does that explain people coming to the rally with guns, ammo, other weapons, body armor and proudly talk about pre-planning for the rally?
The push happened before trumps rally was over. FBI had warned of such action days before the rally. You cant on one hand claim that the idea of agitators in a peaceful crowd of trump supporters is ridiculous and on the other hand claim that the exact same kinds of agitators were present at BLM marches causing them to turn violent. We know some of the same people were at the same events causing trouble. The idea that the push into the capitol was comparable in scope or damage to the violence, looting, and destruction seen at the BLM rallies is truly ridiculous. None of it is acceptable.
@mikem “Various reports are indicating the same type of approach at the Capitol with confirmed antifa "members" present and raising the temperature.” The only "reports" I've seen to this effect are presented by Trump apologists with no evidence. If there is a solid reason to believe this is true, then please present it as an answer. This whole situation was caused by Trump and his allies simply lying. Please don't contribute that effort.
@mikem The level of damage is incomparable, but that's one event compared to many. But the time and place should be concerning to all Americans. There's a post on politics SE that's a better place for this content
