@Ginger is Null joining us?
@AncientSwordRage hopefully
I'm kinda busy today, we'll see what happens
19:02
well, we're here and it's start time!
oh boy
We pick up with Jack, Darrion, and Brune standing in the hallway of the hospital, having just overheard a conversation about the lady who some have theorized has died of fear.
Dr. Klaus has just recounted her description of the cadaver, and then walked off to get a refill of her coffee.
Do I know any medical condition that could possibly explain what Dr. Klaus told me?
I could also try to remember, but I'm not sure I was paying full attention in that pre-req class...
Make a Medicine check, anyone who wants to.
19:05
14 against 70.
Brune has one skill he's good at and by God he will use it.
32 < 46 = Medicine
67 Vs 1
(long shot)
@bobble A success from Darrion. The fear theory could conceivably cover the burst eye vessels and the stopped heart; those aren't unheard of.
Extreme success from Brune. You don't know of any natural medical condition that would cause this. The fear might cause the burst blood vessels in the eye, and the cardiac arrest, but the ripped skin around the eye indicates some external factor was at play.
"Maybe..."
Jack look anxiously between the two
19:11
Brune massages his brow with the palm of his hand, trying to sound reasonable, authoritative and not absolutely terrified. "Foul play, certainly. Very nasty business. Who else have we established was in the hospital last night besides the three of us?"
"I can tell you a bunch of students who were at a pizza party"
"Foul play? D'ya think there'd be something on 'er medical records?"
Brune frowns. "Perhaps. We don't yet know her name, or if she has visited the hospital before for other medical conditions. Shall we ask?"
(I'm trying to steer us towards needing to find a certain sysyadmin who's out new players character)
hmm, I think I had a plan for that
19:14
Darrion is acting uncharacteristically mouselike
oh yes: presuming the power was going to go down at the hospital, I'd notice that one of my computers there was offline and go investigate
have to go eat lunch now tho, brb
Are the detectives still in the room that Dr. Klaus exited from?
Yes, the detectives and the other doctors, including Dr. Antonelli, are still in there.
Brune lowers his voice. "I don't believe we should confront anyone with Dr. Antonelli around, assuming he may be involved. In any case, I did tell Dr. Klaus I was planning to pick up some items from my office. I think it would be best if we discussed private matters in there?"
nod
19:17
Jack nods solemnly
Brune nods in apparent relief and hastily rolls towards his office, clearly relieved to be out of the lobby and away from the mess.
Assuming you're passing by the taped off area again on your way there, I'd like everyone present to make a Spot Hidden check on your way, please. You need a hard success or better to succeed.
42 against 25.
While they go, Darrion palms his phone and taps out, without looking, at hosp ceh ("check/contact every hour", agreement for security with Kiko)
84 > 64 = Spot Hidden. Probably distracted by texting
19:20
Noted. You make it to Brune's office without incident.
@bobble A couple minutes pass before you get a thumbsup emoji in response, along with "vrything ok?"
for now
ominous. concerning. anxiety-inducing. not out of character. stay safe
As before, the office is neatly organized, with many objects strangely marked by masking tape. Brune quickly rolls over to his desk, pulls open a drawer, and begins rummaging around, gesturing for the door to be closed. "Mr. Darrion, we must examine that crime scene, but I do not want to impose on your personal safety by having you do something potentially dangerous. And there is quite a bit of security present. Does anyone have ideas for getting a closer look at that cadaver?"
Darrion looks up from his phone, grinning, and manages a "mmm", not quite having tuned back into the conversation
"Not really Doc.."
19:26
"Given that Dr. Klaus was the examining professional, I assume it hasn't gone farther than the hospital cold storage. And for that matter, the corpse you discovered on the beach may also be worth looking at." Brune eyes the two of them. "Does the idea of sneaking down there concern you?"
back
@Sciborg "only that I'm not much fer sneaking doc"
Brune tilts his head meaningfully in Darrion's direction.
"Cold storage? If we need access, I could get us down in a jiffy - still have a guest-access card from the last time I did a favor for a med student mate o' mine"
In the meantime, over in a small office cramped with assorted technical equipment, an Atlassian Statuspage is showing a "major outage" for over an hour now, as the student medical records hosted by the hospital are for some reason unavailable. An attempt to SSH into the server fails. Alex, you might have to either get someone to physically handle the device or get over there yourself.
19:29
"I assume you have the stomach for this task?" Brune steeples his fingers together, his eyes repeatedly flicking towards the door to check for eavesdroppers. "And you would have a plausible explanation should you be caught?"
@Mithical (this is almost what I was thinking lol)
the server in question was overdue for a full system update, so Alex decides it's a good excuse to go babysit that as well
"Another favor, maybe. Last time it was to snap a picture from a different angle than the records had"
so now I have to get from my "office" (in the basement of one of the campus buildings, how about) to the hospital
@bobble "If you need me, I can go along. Not sure what to tell 'em?"
@Ginger You can either take an electric bike that has a 50/50 of having a flat when you get to it, or you can catch a bus down there.
19:32
how's the weather?
Not too bad. There's a bit of a chilly breeze coming in from the sea, but otherwise fairly warm for the season.
"Mr. Rivers, I think you and I should attempt to gain access to the scene in the meantime. Or I could go alone while you supervise Darrion. The tape and onlookers will be a problem, but I may come up with something. There must be something there that is worth examining." Brune drums his fingers on the desk as he thinks. "And we should meet back here in... a half hour?"
Alex'll try the bike then
Make a luck check to see if it's flat :D
so do I flip a coin?
ok, hmm
...remind me what I do for that?
19:34
Roll a d100, see if it's above the "Luck" stat on your sheet.
Sorry, under.
"Roger."
@Sciborg "I'm 'appy stick with you Doc"
17 < 55
(presuming that's the correct number)
19:35
Darrion digs out the guest card, straightens his sleeves, and slips off to cold storage
@Ginger You've got a freshly charged, nicely pumped up bike at your disposal.
stoopendous
“Then we have a plan.” Brune’s fingers tremble a bit, and he hastily moves them back down to the armrests of the wheelchair to pretend he’s not nervous. “Come along, Mr. Rivers, I admit subterfuge is not my specialty.”
Alex hops on and heads off, making sure to grab a flash drive with a fresh Debian ISO (and their trusty laptop)
At least looking like he belongs is a skill that overlaps with looks fashion. Darrion shoots nods at anyone he sees on his way.
19:36
@Mithical can I roll against intimidate for Jack to be so imposing looking nobody stops us?
I'm going to need either a Persuade or Stealth check from Darrion to avoid being stopped on your way down there.
@AncientSwordRage You're headed with Brune to the waiting room?
Yes, we're headed towards the taped-off area.
41 < 50 = Persuade
@Mithical yup
@Ginger Around fifteen minutes later, you're stopped by a bored-looking police officer on your way into the hospital. "Excuse me, friend, but only authorized personnel are being allowed into the hospital at the moment. What's the purpose of your visit?"
19:40
it does occur to me that since I have the laptop the drive is redundant :/ (unless Alex forgot to charge the thing, of course)
@AncientSwordRage Okay, either Intimidate or Persuade.
@Ginger I always have a Ubuntu 20.4 and a Ubuntu 22.4 on me even when I have my laptop.
There's a Ubuntu 22.04 thumb drive in my briefcase as we speak.
what's Alex in charge of at the hospital? just the student records?
(also imagine using Ubuntu, this post made by Mint Raspbian gang)
Yep, you're working with the university, so the student medical records, and you may have done an odd job or two in the past while you were there.
19:43
@Mithical 72 Vs 60 intimidate 😬
Alex tries to look authoritative. "I'm from the uni, the sysop in charge of student medical records, and the server that hosts them seems to be down. I can provide ID if you want?"
Brune has no ability to look threatening, but he attemps to look calm and like he's supposed to be here as he rolls alongside Jack.
@Sciborg wait, why do you have a briefcase?
@Ginger (server admin messenger bag of briefcaseishness :p)
ah, of course
19:46
At this point, the detectives have returned to the taped-off area, accompanied by Dr. Klaus, Dr. Hoth - a geriatrician - and Dr. Antonelli. Dr. Klaus looks a bit surprised to see Brune roll in with Jack.
@Ginger The officer wordlessly holds out a hand for the ID.
Alex dutifully hands over their driver's license
Realizing everyone has gathered back over there and is going to see them immediately, Brune hastily aims at the door as if he's just on his way out, tapping Jack's arm frantically and muttering, "Well, there goes that plan."
(presuming they have it)
@Sciborg Jack follows Brune
The officer looks down. "This is a driver's license, do you have anything that shows your connection to the hospital?"
19:48
oh dear
"I have the private SSH key for the server..."
2
You get a blank stare.
worth a shot
I don't think Alex would have anything else proving their relation to the hospital on them
At this point, you can see a little behind the officer a doctor in a wheelchair and a large man are just exiting the door.
hmm, do they recognize me?
"Perhaps," Brune mumbles under his breath to Jack as he innocently heads through the exit door as if to leave, "we might be able to create a distraction?"
19:50
Jack wouldn't, but if you've been there before, Brune might recognize you. Why don't we call that another luck check?
Darrion would recognize you, but he's at the moment heading down to cold storage.
53 < 55 (barely)
@Mithical Jack's been here a few weeks... He might have seen Alex....
Over in cold storage, Darrion has made it without being stopped, and successfully gets in the door with the guest card.
Is it obvious which box contains what?
There are nametags on one end of the covers.
They're also ordered in order of DoD, so what you're looking for is probably near the door.
19:53
Dungeons of Deadpeople?
oh, date of death
Date of Death.
Darrion carefully closes the door behind him and scoots over to the right cover.
He double-checks over his shoulder again and unzips it, then readies a camera to snap whatever pictures he thinks the Doc might want. Also thinking about what could be the cause while looking.
@Ginger You remember speaking with Brune briefly before - the wheelchair stood out to you. It's possible that he'll recognize you if you can catch his attention.
(am I permitted to roll luck to see if Jack knows Alex from his searching any town?)
@Mithical do I know his name?
19:55
Dr. Aber... something.
Every tiny adjustment in position leads the skirt to brush again legs that are hypersensitive to touch due to cold
@AncientSwordRage Let's say with a penalty die, since I don't think Alex gets out much :p
"...Perhaps if we could cut the lights, or some other..." Brune trails off wearily. "Hell's bells, I sound like I'm planning some sort of heist."
Alex waves frantically over the cop: "Hey! Dr... something? I've got a downed sever and an update to install, can you vouch for me for this guy?"
(face blindness go brrr)
(Do I recognize them?)
19:57
@Mithical (31,38) Vs 80
(brb)
@bobble You unzip the cover. Inside is precisely what Dr. Klaus described: The pale, shrunken remains of an elderly lady. There is blood splattered across the cheeks from burst blood vessels in the eyes. The skin around the eyelids has been torn open, adding to the gruesome sight, with visible redness around them that hasn't yet faded. The irises are a faded green.
@Sciborg Yes, given the success on the luck roll earlier.
(chekov's eye color?)
@AncientSwordRage New Rivaille's not a large town; you must've crossed paths in the grocery store or somewhere else in the past few weeks.
Brune looks up sharply at the voice, and spots Alex. "Oh," he says, surprised; the face swims around in his mind for a moment in search for a name to connect with, and finally lands on Alex something who wears plain T-shirts. "Alex. You're from the school. We've spoken before, haven't we? You mind the servers downstairs."
20:01
Kiko would probably find this fascinating, Darrion thinks, checking all angles.
"I think? Sorry, I'm not great with faces"
@bobble Please make a medicine check while you're at it.
He'll tell her over that coffee.
36 < 46 = Medicine
"Well, in any rate, this is not an ideal time to be performing maintenance, but I suppose administration cannot wait for such things." Brune nods politely at the officer. "They're with me."
Jack eyes up Alex, "I'm sure I've seen your face"
20:03
"Whaddya mean, not an ideal time?"
@bobble Something about the bloodsplatters... they're not as far as you'd expect given the nature of the wound. This might have happened after the cardiac arrest.
Is there a ruler/measuring tape in view?
Seems like something that might be around
Sure, you've got a measuring tape in reach.
"Well, perhaps we should walk you inside and explain on the way, to make sure you're safe." Brune seems to be getting an idea in his head now, and escorting Alex inside gives him an excuse to go back in the building again, so he falls into line casually alongside them. "There's been a death in the building. I am unsure if I'm at liberty to disclose details."
Then, with a bit of a searching look, "You wouldn't happen to know anything about unusual power surges, would you?"
Darrion lays the tape along one side of the body, clearly measuring out the blood splatter distance, and snaps that picture too.
20:05
@Sciborg The officer rolls their eyes and ushers Alex through, clearly not concerned enough to bother checking anything else.
"Hmm, I might. I did a bit of electrical engineering back in the day"
How long has it been since the office last?
for me
About twenty minutes at this point, given how long it took to get down there and perform the inspection.
"That was mostly with hobby stuff though, not municipal electricity."
@Ginger You've also heard some talk about a new power plant being hooked up to the grid recently.
20:07
"Maybe it's that new power plant I saw in the news a week or so back? I swear, if this is why my server's down..."
@Sciborg "I'm half decent with a fusebox, if it helps?" Jack offers
"The magic smoke needs to stay in, that's the critical bit"
"Interesting. There was quite a large surge a few minutes ago. I suspect we should make sure your servers are unharmed." Brune looks at him askance, seemingly weighing his options. "Mr. Rivers here is... assisting me in some matters. I don't suppose you would know where the security footage from last night would be located on your servers, would you?"
"Security footage? That's not exactly within my purview, I'm just a glorified database manager." Alex mulls it over.
@Ginger Jack looks at Alex agog not sure if he should take him seriously
20:10
Darrion will make his way back to the office.
Have you headed inside at this point?
"Well, I'm assisting in some other bureaucratic matters for this death investigation - routine, of course - and I was asked to inquire." Brune sounds casual enough, but his eyes keep flicking to Jack. "Perhaps we could take a look, make sure nothing is unusual."
Assuming we are heading inside, yes.
He stops in a bathroom on the way to wash his hands, trying to get rank smell off
Well, you'll need to get inside and down to the computer-y bits of the hospital; I presume Alex knows how to get there.
Dr. Klaus looks at you askance as you roll back in, now with not one but two other people in tow.
second stairwell to the right, and straight on till the corner
20:12
Brune waves good-naturedly at her, gesturing to Alex as if to indicate that he's just helping them out for a minute.
Assuming Darrion gets to Doc's office and the others aren't there yet, he will play a pet-themed match 3 game on his phone while waiting.
She nods and goes back to her discussion with one of the detectives.
@Ginger Given your traveling companion, you may need to find an alternative way of getting there.
is there an elevator nearby?
It's now been around 25 minutes since you separated, on Brune and Jack's end.
...that's a bit fast, actually; let's call it 25 minutes after you find an elevator and arrive at the hospital data center.
do you mean we have found an elevator and 25 minutes have now elapsed?
or that we will need to go search for one, and then 25 minutes will have elapsed?
20:17
Darrion's fingers hover over a microtransaction powerup to just finish this one level, but then he sighs and closes the app instead.
You've found an elevator, gotten to the correct floor, and found your way there. Alex knows the way from the stairs, so it took a bit of wandering, but Brune, Jack, and Alex are now at the data center. It's been 25 minutes since Darrion went off to cold storage and Brune and Jack went to the waiting area.
Brune rolls out of the elevator in evident relief that he doesn't have to go through the usual, very familiar song and dance of someone suggesting the stairs in his presence and then awkwardly having to apologize. "Let's make this quick, we have a companion waiting for us in my office and I don't want to leave them alone up there long."
Alex nods vigorously in assent
Jack nods languidly, taking in the surroundings
how big is the datacenter, and how do the servers look?
20:19
You'd find Darrion playing with his sleeve again.
if any of them are on fire then we have a different problem
It's... not small. There are the hospital's servers, and the backup servers, and the medical record storage backups, and the administration backups, and the data security equipment, and the physical security equipment... you're looking at a full floor full of stacked electronics.
You know that the student records are off in one corner, but finding the security footage and getting it off will be its own challenge.
Brune surveys the server room in awe, clearly having never had a reason to come down here before. "This is... quite magnificent."
Alex, in a rare example of forethought, remembered to put a red sticker on their server, and goes hunting for it now
The number of cables running overhead and into the ceiling and floor is a bit astounding.
20:22
@Sciborg They shout something in agreement over the roar of the fans
None of them seem to be on fire, but a few of them are blinking red, indicating some sort of problem.
Darrion has now progressed to taking notes on the paper again. At this rate he'll finish studying it after Cthulu comes
Jack looks around, half expecting magic smoke
Alex finds the server in the corner and takes a look at it
what kind of condition is it in?
Your server has been fried by the power surge. It's not even turning on.
20:23
"well, that's not great"
"Would y'all mind helping me get this thing out of its rack? I need to see if the drives are a loss"
"Magic smoke escaped?"
2
@AncientSwordRage "Unfortunately"
Brune raises his mild-mannered voice in an attempt to be heard over the server fans, but is only partially successful. "Mr. Rivers, would you mind?"
Jack strides over easily, and offers his massive hands to help
You've got a backup there, so not all is lost, but it'll be a pain - it'll take time to get the backup and running, mostly in the equivalent of compiling time.
20:25
Alex untightens the screws (fortunately they're the hand-turnable kind) and slides the server out with care
"Don't drop it, this thing isn't cheap"
It's hot to the touch.
painfully so?
A bit, yeah.
Alex winces and pushes it back hastily
Brune rolls over to see what's going on. "I don't imagine that's normal."
20:26
(then realizing that it would have gotten stuck anyway because they forgot to unplug it)
I assume Darrion might have been waiting for more time than expected, but maybe that means he'll finally finish his notes!
Looking around, you can see that a few other servers around you are in a similar state. Hopefully the security footage is still accessible.
"Not really. Whatever happened must've been pretty aggressive to do that much damage"
I will arbitrarily say that if you're half an hour late (i.e. when he checks back in with Kiko) then the notes will be done.
"I think the drives are a loss, which sucks; I'll have to come back later and check to be sure"
20:28
Brune raises his voice to be heard again. "Mr. Rivers, I feel I should check on Darrion in the meantime. Can I trust you not to get our new friend into trouble?"
@bobble Your phone buzzes with some complains on a groupchat about a power outage in one of the dorm buildings.
"Oh, I'm very trustworthy! I usually solve more problems than I cause, at least."
Alex, you can get the backup server started and then check on the security footage, if you'd like.
this why PRINT papers
Darrion's texting ettiquette is atrocious
Alex flips the switch on the backup and waits for it to spin to life
20:29
Brune dutifully rolls outside to head back for the elevator, then stops cold. The sight of the winding, dark hallways suddenly pushes into his mind and reminds him of the dream. He grimaces and hastily speeds to the elevator as fast as he can, heart rattling slightly in his chest.
Assuming nothing goes awry on the journey, he'll head back to the office to see if Darrion is there.
They haul out the laptop and try to remember where the backup images are stored
@Sciborg The blinking red and green lights from the various devices do nothing to alleviate that. You make it to the elevator without incident.
@Ginger Let's get a computer use check in here.
Jack stands around trying to look helpful
Brune rolls back into the office looking a bit paler than before. "Darrion? Are you safe?"
@Sciborg (Jack would have nodded before Brune left)
20:31
He starts. "Yeah, yeah. Ooh, gotta show you this"
@Mithical d100?
Yep, d100, let me know the result and your Computer Use skill.
Brune's shoulders relax in obvious relief that Darrion wasn't hurt. He eagerly rolls over to see the photographs. "Excellent work, excellent, what did you find?"
80 > 70 D:
Taking out his phone, Darrion pulls up the picture with the measuring tape (it's the latest one so it's first in his history). "The bloody blood-(pause for snicker)-splatter is all off."
20:33
my magicks have failed me
He hands off the phone to Brune to scroll through
@Ginger The drivers on the backup servers are out of date. This is going to take hours at this rate.
"The distance is strange," Brune agrees, noticing the discrepancy at once. He flicks through the photographs. Anything medical jumping out?
*internal screaming*
true horror
20:34
is there anything I can usefully do? sudo apt full-upgrade or such?
"your computer needs to restart for Windows update"
@Sciborg The redness around the eyes tickles a memory. You've seen something similar very recently, on someone's hands.
Hands...
@Ginger You can start that off, but it'll take a while to complete. You can start that and then work on something else, if you'd like.
While Doc looks through the phone, Darrion checks the clock - I get the vibe Brune would have an analog clock on the wall - to see how long until he should check-in with Kiko
20:36
Brune is definitely the kind of person who refuses to read digital clocks on principle.
Right on cue, you get a message. Check-in - u good?
Alex starts the upgrade and begins downloading the backup ISO onto the server
hopefully the hospital's Internet is fast
It is not.
@Ginger Jack is watching Alex work like they are a wizard.
Putting the phone down on the desk, Brune pinches the skin between his eyes with his fingers as he contemplates what he saw. "The red around the eyes..."
20:37
Brune still have the phone?
(Alex plans to mount the ISO and copy the data over, since flashing the server requires hauling it out of the rack and messing with the drives and they don't want to do that)
Darrion grabs the phone back. still hosp
"Are you putting the ... 'magic smoke' back?“ you get the impression he might not be joking about the Magic Smoke.
Brune gestures. "Someone named Kiko is asking after you, it seems."
@AncientSwordRage "Magic smoke isn't fungible, unfortunately"
20:38
"Friend. She bought the shirt" gestures
Brune smiles at the cat shirt. "You have good taste in friends."
@Sciborg Large, muscular, somewhat-scarred hands.
@Ginger While that's working, let's get another Computer Use check to see how long it takes you to find the security storage.
breakin' the law breakin' the law
(Jack's hands...?)
@Sciborg Yep.
20:41
21 < 70
Brune's rare smile fades as something suddenly seems to occur to him. He looks frantically back at the door. "...No."
"Yes?"
Alex is struck by an inexplicable urge to say "maybe"
@Mithical (I'm lost, and I'm not processing why we're discussing hands?)
@Ginger Hard success. In under five minutes, you've found what seems to be the security system, with its own storage hard drives. With that check, you can make a Hacking check with a bonus die to get the footage while not taking up enough RAM to noticeably slow down the system for anyone using it.
20:43
@Ginger Jack nods as sagely as he can muster
@Mithical imagine worrying about RAM usage
@AncientSwordRage Brune recognized a redness on the lady's eyes as being the same type of redness that had been on Jack's hands when he took the statement yesterday.
how do I do a bonus die?
Roll the 00 die twice (I don't know the syntax for the bot).
@Mithical (ahhh yep, I just back read even further and caught it. Thanks)
20:45
hmm, 00 is 1-10 right?
No, the other one.
"Do you recall seeing Mr. Rivers's hands, at any point in time in the last day?" Brune looks back at Darrion frantically. "The color?"
The 00-90 one.
@Ginger Look, I'm making things up here, I have the disadvantage of making up technobabble for people that are actually technically competent :P
(Do I?)
Darrion is the kind of person to look at faces and outfits, not at hands
I don't think so - I'm not sure it would've struck Darrion as anything to pay attention to, and by today it's not really visible. Brune and Jack spent a lot more time together yesterday.
20:48
"No..."
(recently on Darrion's Dialogue: "Yes?" and "No...")
"He touched that man on the beach..." Brune throws open the office door and rolls at top speed down the hallway, practically flying. "I don't know what this is, but we need to find out. Downstairs!"
Darrion trots after
extremely non-relaxing elevator music
2
bum ba-buuum bum ba-buuum bum ba-buuum bum ba-buuum
@Ginger Hacking check is a success. You manage to get the footage from the past 24 hours downloading onto a USB stick slowly enough to not cause problems.
20:51
very nice
good thing I brought that drive!
When the elevator door opens, Brune speeds out, bellowing, "Jack!" It marks the first time you've heard him actually use his first name.
@Sciborg You arrive to find Alex hunched over a laptop that's hooked up to both a local server and a USB drive sticking out of it, with Jack hovering right behind.
"Hey, Alex!"
"Ah, Darrion! ...When did I see you last? I swear it was recently"
now I have elevator music stuck in my head, thanks Brune
"There was that inane security webinar you somehow got roped into holding..."
20:54
"Jack. Show me your hands!" Brune sounds panicked as he grabs for his wrists, completely ignoring the meet-cute going on next to him. "Now!"
Jack thrusts his hands towards Brune on command
"Seriously, did you lose a bet or something? I remember you grousing about those things"
Brune turns them over frantically, looking for any signs of redness.
There are small red patches on the ends of his fingers and his thumb, looking like a minor rash.
They look calloused but well maintained, the nails are short but not from biting (plus what Mith said)
20:56
@bobble "I still don't know why I thought that would be a good idea! My security knowledge extends to checking my logs every once in a while"
There is a distinctive wavy pattern to the rash, however, that matches what you saw in Darrion's picture.
"Whatcha looking for Doc?"
"I can barely believe I got this download working. Maybe I should buy a black hoodie, hunch over my laptop all the time, really commit to the bit"
Brune stares in a panic at the red patches, brain racing a thousand miles an hour. "Jack, these are the same marks we found on that poor lady's body. Did you get these from touching that seaweed?"
"Well, I had to stop Phylia from getting phished the day after, so I'll say it didn't work."
(two conversations, hah)
20:57
Jack thinks back... "I suppose I did?"
"But I didn't touch the lady..."
@bobble "Oh? How quality was it?"
"Did they at least get a domain? I had someone send me one that was just an IP address"
how far along are the two downloads?
