@bertieb errr
section 60 year I think so
Basically they've implemented something that allows them to stop and search without due cause.
my point is..... that should be the case anytime.
@CanadianLuke the young kids fix the computers for the teachers, the older kids just laugh at them?

No, the staff are actually a lot nicer to the computers here than my last posting. The kids are little troublemakers though (i.e. ripping keys off, splitting laptops in half, etc)

urgh
jesus why does everything need a con now...
I love The Oatmeal, but it doesn't need a con.

@djsmiley2k Nooo
Due cause is important

Man the Bourne movie series sucks so much
It's like such major BS
Like honestly
I can rant about this all day

Are there any good meta Q/A on SuperUser about "using SU as the official support/FAQ channel for your software"?
is that allowed/disallowed? I know answering your own question in general is Good, but may run up against "self promotion" issues as well. Thanks.

10:35 PM
SE prefers if the questions are organic, not planned

@pkamb Don't self-answer questions about your own software
But you can encourage people to ask on SU. I know a couple projects ask their users to ask on SO if they can't find an answer in the docs with the tag that's for their software
That said, one of the SU mods will be able to weigh in here better

The other important thing is always to disclose affiliation

11:19 PM
@pkamb common sense mostly
If you're answering other questions as well, and answering real, organic questions on your product, its good.
Using SU or SE formally for product support is a little tricky
I kinda think the self answering goes against the spirit, not the letter of how we do things in this case. Its fine, with proper disclosure though

> Scotland is leading the way in the UK, with 84% cent of all new planting happening here
