@Rahul2001 because I ordered an ESP32 dev board and it has an onboard battery support (charge and run-off), and I didn't want to wait a week or two when I decide to build a project that requires portability.
Does SuperUser have any history regarding it's Beta life, Area 51 life, etc. and these sort of aspects I can read about? I wasn't sure if SU worked it's way in like other SE communities or if it was so early in the life that it just spun off differently than how that works now with requesting a community in Area 51 and going thru the process like that, etc.
Just wondering if there's a general area to look to read about some of those aspects? Perhaps I've overlooked a pointer from the Help or some other site function where this is already listed.

Generally, "normal" Li-ion batteries shouldn't really be charged at faster than 0.5C. The battery can get hot and its service life may be reduced.
Now, high-grade LiPo batteries of the sort used in phones generally have little issue charging at speeds in excess of 1C (the OnePlus 3T charges at about 1.1C using the supplied Dash Charger) but I try to avoid using the fast charge feature.
You may be able to revive a deeply-discharged Li-ion battery as long as it has not dropped below 2V per cell by applying a low charge current to it. If the battery has stayed at a very low voltage for an extended period of time, do not use the battery; attempting to recharge it can cause the cell to vent.
Some batteries will shut down if their voltage goes too low; they can often be reactivated by applying a slow charge to it. See Battery University lesson BU-808a.
Can't disable screensaver and lock on the work laptop. Often have the laptop at home (Noone else to access it) and have to move the mouse once in a while to prevent it from triggering the screen saver.
Either a rubberducky or a mouse in an automatic cradle will work.
But I also need windows 7 (or at least IE6 on XP or a mutilated IE8 on win7) to access a legacy app. it work on IE8 if you 'rpoperly' configure it. E..g run everything automatically, download all, do not check signatures, ....
