@allquixotic urk. Go easy on the shoveling, yea? Don't injure yourself
17:37
Oh @Bob, KSP isn't just all money and missions now, they've added heating, aerodynamic stress, and various other methods of blowing up
Basically things like deadly re-entry have been integrated into the game

@qasdfdsaq yea, I heard about plans for those but stopped following it before they were actually added...
I kinda did for a bit too. I didn't play between versions 0.25 and 1.04
Bob
Bob
Wait. Could've sworn some level of heating and aerodynamic stress were in early versions...hmm
In work, Saturday... At 4 am this morning, I got alerts about a failing hard drive in a RAID 5 array -.-
Bob
Bob
Dunno when I actually last played.
> Kerbal Space Program - 0.25.0.642 (WindowsPlayer) Steam
That's in the logs :P
> Thank you for downloading the Kerbal Space Program!

Version 1.0.5
That's in the readme... hm.

Though it might've updated itself at some point
Steam autoupdates it all the time
Bob
Bob
The last time I played (briefly) was probably shortly after they added contracts.
Save last modified in Jul 2014.
So, yea, after 0.24, just before 0.24.1
I'd probably have to learn everything from scratch to pick it up again :P
@qasdfdsaq I should probably turn off updates...
Nah, just play in sandbox mode and it's basically all the same
Bob
Bob
Waste of bandwidth for an unplayed game.
Yeah, I turned off auto-updates. More importantly version updates frequently break mods and savegames

Never really did anything with mods, but my saves are probably screwed.

Who uses trackball mouse from Kensington?
@Boris_yo There's a guy at work that uses one.
@MichaelFrank Which model?
The Expert one, I believe.
@MichaelFrank There's new wireless version of it.
Not really sure it needs to be wireless if all it does is sit on the desk...
19:09
@MichaelFrank Would help to mobile laptop user like me.

Don't you just love it when spawning your spaceplane causes the runway to explode

I really enjoy creative shit on KSP
Anonymous
and usually being creative on KSP means it's harder to play properly and not explode (and now there's even drag, thermal problems, etc.)
21:17
@qasdfdsaq lol. Did it materialise under the runway?
Just measured the snow – 20 inches so far.
@DavidPostill Nope.
22:13
Astronaut Scott Kelly captured this image of the storm from the International Space Station showing storm Jonas moving up the coast

@DavidPostill you know you have a light pollution problem when even your street lights PUNCH through the clouds

@allquixotic, @Bob So I kinda made a branch where I changed almost every file. I've tested it, sort of, but things might still go in flames. Before merging it into master I'd like it if you guys tried running it for a few days and report anything that comes up.
The new branch is browserify, master.js is at https://github.com/Zirak/SO-ChatBot/blob/browserify/master.js
Thanks
Or maybe not thanks
@Zirak can't just bring in master.js; will have to build it myself, as I incorporate quite a few customizations
going to have to manually merge your changes as there will likely be conflicts
Hurray!
What're your customisations? Anything we can merge in to upstream?
we have import/export which you haven't accepted the pull request of; we're not allowed to have auto-welcome because we're an official channel; custom !!welcome message; additional commands that you removed that I don't want to be removed; commands you have that we're not allowed to have or don't want (fuckable, summon, etc)... I could go on
Commands that I removed? Which ones? Also, I just made the welcome message configurable(ish) earlier today
(with master.js removed of course)
22:56
I am a and you're b?
It seems intermittent; which one of us doesn't have the run-headless? Can't be me, but I also definitely have mindjailing
yes
I think I may have hosed up the git diff somehow by diffing against that commit in my fork

@Zirak just a quick question:
Just a quick answer
Anonymous
I'm not a stallman zealot but why did you choose the WTFPL over GPL?
Because I don't want to force attribution. I write what I write for people to use and enjoy, I don't want to enforce any sort of contract.
If you want to use my stuff for your nuclear warhead programs that's fine too.
23:01
that should look a little more consistent
Anonymous
@Zirak I see, so you also don't quite care about the license any fork down the road may choose too? Even if it's not open source or if it is the BPL, which requires you to at least break two sections of the US criminal code in order to be authorized to use the software?
@PatoSáinz Yes, I don't care about that either. Want to monetize on my stuff? Go ahead. Want to close source it? Couldn't care less.

k, nice
23:43
Well THAT took a while
Landing a spaceplane in KSP with no nosegear is haaarrrrddd
One of the few parts of that flight which would have been easier IRL
23:58
I have just been restarted! This happens daily automatically, or when my owner restarts me. Ready for commands.
