Night guys! A question: I just installed Waterfox 8.0.1 (basically Firefox 8.0.1 64-bit for Windows, and optimizations for the latest CPUs)

thats not a statement, its a question ;)

Anyway, I can't check my usual sites, since they serve mixed content.
Some of it is delivered through HTTPS, some of it is HTTP.
Which was perfectly fine until the latest Mozilla release.
Any idea how to disable it?
yeah I know. :D
how did you stack up 200gb of Linux ISOs @JourneymanGeek? :DD

lol
gotta get em all? ;p

yeah, I know, right? :D

actually the next thing i have to clear up is fun
its music off a refurb ipod i bought to replace one with a mucked up hard drive

12:13 AM
well I used the "sdelete" tool from Sysinternals package

more like i need to decide if i want to toss it
and what to toss

There was a pack for IE ... addons and stuff...

@JourneymanGeek Seems like he likes different kinds of music, it's only a part of his full collection though...

well, presumably. I can't ID a lot of stuff... wierdly including the lady gaga in there
and he's shitty at tagging

@JourneymanGeek who?

@studiohack: I bought a refurbished ipod as a temporary one until i decide i need to upgrade. I was just looking through the music there, and posted up what was on it a few line sup
'he' would refer to the previous owner ;p

wow, how did you format it like that?

oh, mp3tag
has an export feature. Darn thing does damn near everything but audiofingerprinting, (which i use picard for, but its currently not working with ANY of these files)
I've not actually decided if i want to keep any of these. Just used it to test if i can convert the renamed files inside an ipod into actually sensible filenames

A: Do I need USB3 sticks to get USB3 speed?

Max - usb3pcicard.comUSB 3 is backwards compatible but yes you will need usb 3 devices to get the full speed. see http://usb3pcicard.com/how-do-i-upgrade-to-usb-3-0/pci-and-pci-express-pcie-usb-3-0-cards/

Never mind, a moderator deleted it along with the account used to post the answer.

Well, as it was quite old, I say probably - can't say for certain...

That's the famous Magic Roundabout
Only one like it!
I had a friend who drives stretched limos, and, he worked near there and had to do it all the time! He hated it!
The Magic Roundabout in Swindon, England was constructed in 1972 and consists of five mini-roundabouts arranged in a circle. It is located near the County Ground, home of Swindon Town F.C. Its name comes from the popular children's television series The Magic Roundabout. In 2009 it was voted the fourth scariest junction in Britain, in a poll by Britannia Rescue. History The roundabout was constructed according to the design of Frank Blackmore, of the British Transport and Road Research Laboratory, under the control of Highways engineer Jeff Maycock of Swindon Council. Traffic flow around ...

Pretty confusing, and on top of that you drive on the left side.
I think if any of us drive there the chance to crash is pretty high on a busy day...

I could say the same with Europe and me.... I almost had an accident on my first drive to France!
@TomWijsman I am soon going to be getting internet (at work) that puts yours to shame :P ... Just wish I had it at home!
That company I talked about a while ago on here, I emailed them and said I really wanted to work for them... and... well, I got a job there! They just moved office and should be getting their 1GB connection any day now!

Lol, are you obsessed with that now!?

9:33 PM
Apart from the car that passes straight by on 1:11 (is he allowed to drive over that roundabout mark?) it looks reasonable to drive over though...
@WilliamHilsum Nice.

In England, on mini roundabouts, you are allowed to go over them... e.g. just the small domes in the road/no brick work

Although, I also have an internet connection at my work that puts yours to shame. (University :P)

@TomWijsman But, still so jealous of you! I can't really do Torrents at work!
@TomWijsman Damn, lol! Is that internet2 or something? How fast?

@WilliamHilsum: I'm not sure actually, but it's Belnet.
> Today, the organisation operates a full optical fibre network with connections of 10 Gbit/s and more, offering virtually unlimited bandwidth.

@TomWijsman Well, we do offer 10GB connections - but, just getting 1GB for the office... Think that is fast enough! lol

9:37 PM
Haven't seen that chart yet, seems we are on a shared line with the other cities.
@WilliamHilsum Yeah, in general they aren't really necessary unless you do distributed stuff that requires a lot of bandwidth.
