@TRiG I don't know what the normal response times are here, but I'm a little surprised too. It got 4 or 5 votes in the first 5 minutes, but no answers yet. Well, it's not like I've got a software delivery depending on the answer to a bug or something. :-) I assume answers will come in time.

@MonicaCellio Yes, it is much slower here then on SO. They will come eventually. A lot of us are busy learning about the new pope.

@TRiG related (and I remember when he posted that after I posted a related question on Mi Yodeya). Those questions seem to be more focused on either the recipient of bad behavior or observers, rather than the person doing the wronging, and of course they're limited to online, but it's all inter-related, yes.
 
@TRiG I think I would want to close mine in favor of @MonicaCellio's since it asks in terms that are less "Christianese".

Woo. Ubuntu's latest upgrade claims to fix over 50 (I think; I lost count) CVEs in Chromium. Which is the browser I'm currently using.
 
@fredsbend On SO I heard they recently set a record of "post to delete by community" of 11 seconds. No site I'm active on is anywhere close to that, and I'm glad.

@JonEricson I think yours is different. I'm asking what the person doing the wrongdoing should do to repair things. I don't think that's your focus. Am I misunderstanding?
 
@MonicaCellio Oh yeah. SO is very fast paced. If you want any rep you need to answer correctly AND quickly. It is cut throat, imo, for who gets there first.
 
@MonicaCellio True. (But it's two sides of the same coin as I hope to explain.)

@JonEricson indeed, they are related and you might end up writing an answer to both.

How in the word did a textbook example of a Pastoral Advice question, something explicitly prohibited in the FAQ get eight up votes? It's potentially a great question if it were rephrased, but I'm wondering why nobody is trying to help guide new visitors. christianity.stackexchange.com/questions/14920/…
