Is there any new method of 'duplicate' flag released in SE sites? Whenever someone flag my question as duplicate, the is a banner showing "does this question solves your?".

this is ridiculous. I did not ask what to buy or where to buy it. I asked for help with finding the type of cables that go with the card I have that is what the proper part number or proper name for it. . if this site is here to provide a real help than my question is totally legit. if this site is to make some people feel empowered and important and have nothing to do with providing help to some one who really need it than I guess my question is off topic. — vlad2 days ago
@Biswapriyo This has been there for about three years now. Before that, it just used to say "this question may already have an answer here", but without the "that solved my problem" button.
@JourneymanGeek Does that question seem like a recommendation question?
