Hello, I had a question closed as it appeared to be asking for software recommendation. It was not meant to be like that, and I have edited the question with better phrasing / wording so the content appears to be relevant to SU.

I am not sure whether it automatically comes to the notice of moderators to reopen, or do I have to explicitly request for reopening? I have voted for a reopen, but presumably it needs either a certain minimum number of reopen votes or a mod action to reopen?

I'd have pasted a link to the question..in question...but not sure if it'd be appropriate...

@user1173240 future reference, if your question get closed and you edit it afterwards it will enter a reopen queue automatically, this only happens once though.

you can definitely flag to reopen if it's voted to stay closed again (with the required changes)
