Is there any way I can prove that I do not have any deleted questions or answers?
A moderator confirming this here in chat would work, I think, if someone would be so kind.
@HugoRune: One moment
You have 2 deleted questions, no deleted answers
One deleted question was migrated. Both are over 2 years ago
I do? darn. I could have sworn I did not.
may I ask what those questions are?
because I get a warning about getting question-banned
Would the titles do?
Sounds like a bug to me actually.
titles would help getting my memory unclogged
I think I would need a link if I wanted to undelete one though

Thanks!
Sadly I can't really help you further, but I do believe the devs trawl the per site metas.
I do think this looks like a bug tho, and have commented to that effect
At least now I can update my meta question with some corrected information
thanks a lot

Did I mess up here? Should I just flag and move on as opposed to giving feedback?

Q: HDD Recovery, no operating system accessibility

Dimitris SapikasI have a 1TB hard disk drive and I want to recover my data. Suddenly Windows stopped mounting the disk. My current setup right now : 1 PC, the only HDD mounted is the one that I want to recover, 1 optical drive and a USB stick (the last two to try different bootable images) The BIOS recognises...

@slhck "Boo, please don't answer off topic questions" When did this become a rule? I flagged it for migration, and then answered the OP because I could, so he got an answer (you know, helping the users). How is this a bad thing?

@Ƭᴇcʜιᴇ007 It's generally discouraged. Because it encourages bad behavior ("Why bother about the question being closed when I get an answer anyway?").
Granted, if you vote to migrate in the hope of having the answer transferred to another site, that's not such a big issue. However, we don't often migrate to SO because most of the programming questions posted here are too low quality for SO, and often, the OP already has an account and/or is question banned there.

Q: Should I answer off-topic questions?

simontShould I post an answer to an off-topic question after flagging it? I seem to find off-topic questions that I can give a good, useful and correct answer to. (The specific question tonight is this one, but it's happened several times this month now). Other users have clearly deemed the question ...

Q: Is it bad to answer off-topic questions, knowing they are off-topic?

arshajiiSometimes I see a question that is clearly and indisputably off-topic (wether it's opinion-based or too broad etc.), and I vote to close the question for the appropriate reason. However, just because it's off-topic doesn't automatically mean it's a bad question. Every now and again I come across ...

Q: Should one downvote answers to off-topic questions?

Ernest Friedman-HillIt annoys me when people post answers to obviously off-topic questions like this one, especially after those questions have already received several close votes. Migrations seem to happen rather infrequently these days, so there's probably no reputation to gain for questions that are likely to be...

@Arthur Well, it really doesn't qualify as an answer. Would've been better to invite the OP to chat.

@slhck I see your point. Or rather, other's points. I should have though to search the master meta instead of just the SU one apparently as well. :/ Perhaps include reference like this the next time you comment, 'cause really, if you had just deleted the question (without commenting on my answer) I wouldn't have given a squirt. I'm not one of those who expects a comment for ever action taken by other users. ;)
