This is my personal opinion.
I would recommend
- Services like GitHub, GitLab or Launchpad if you want to share code that you to keep even after this event over.
- Keep the code here if it's only a handful of lines.
- Pastebin for large chunck of code or logs for temporary things.

My reasoning is that it feels more natural for me to read code on code-hosting services instead of pastebin. While pastebin is usually for things that I want to share with a person to look over and discard afterwards.
