My central vacuum system needs 20/2 stranded low voltage wire (24 volts I think). Can I use 22/4 wire and pair-up two each to equal or better 20/2? I could save some money by using surplus 22/4 wire.
Lately the thermo pump breaking shot down and the furnace work on the auxilary . This is very expensive in electricity. But what can cause the breaker to keep throwing the circuit?

so in other words, the plaster and lath is all destroyed around the doors where they have been replaced because the trim on the hallway side had to be removed to replace the doors
once i finish all the rooms, i'll need to redo the walls in the hallway
