This didn't seem relevant to others so I thought I'd ask in chat vs a general question. I'm adding a wall to turn a loft into a bedroom and have 2 questions about electrical (purple) I'm looking for any guidance on.
@dpollitt That seems like a perfectly good question for the main site, and it would put it in front of the eyes of all the people that don't generally come into this chat room. I know we've had similar questions.
@Criggie You'd have to be able to multiply by 2.54 or 0.3048 in your head to be able to use it?
@NiallC. thanks for the input. ill give it a shot. about 99% of the time I post a question on stackexchange its marked as a dupe, shopping question, or only relevant to a single person so it gets closed. hahah.
@dpollitt You'll probably be asked to provide close-ups of the inside of the j-box, and some information about where the two cables below are going (if you know).
