man, I'm tired of toilet repair
in other news, happy new year, etc
I cannot get this flapper valve assembly to not leak
I'm tempted to just take off the overflow tube assembly and get a whole new one instead of trying flappers and "flush valve replacements"

@Iggy, I read your profile. You are an arrogant know-it-all, and we are all inexperienced professionals that don't know what we are doing. As you say, you are better than us so keep up the good work. ..... Be assured though, I (and others) will call you out on anything you post that is incorrect or unsafe. — Speedy Petey 3 hours ago
Even I didn't get Petey this fired up.

@Tester101 you missed an opportunity to use 'suicide cord'
@Speedy I'm just saying that it's my experience & I've tripped many GFCI's, but no trip has EVER been due to a ground fault or water & shock relation & ALWAYS just from overload. A GFCI detects in & out balance & that's what an overload or overcurrent is EXACTLY. Try it & let me know what happens, as you saw I have NO doubt & can easily duplicate it in reality. — Iggy 16 hours ago
....
an in and out balance is an overload exactly?
I think I missed something
where are all the electrons going ??!!
