Heya - wondering whether a question would be on topic here.

Just had my A/C serviced, and the repairman found it was overcharged - which is odd b/c it's 8 years old and hasn't had any recharging, and was working great until this year.

Would like to ask whether the given answer from the repairman makes sense, or if I should be looking into other potential sources of the overcharge problem.

Probably not something I would ultimately be able to "do myself", though, other than finding another repair service to check specific issues I ask them to check...

@Joe that does sound odd that it'd be overcharged, unless it was somehow overcharged initially? has there been service work done on it previously?
