@m.raynal This seems rather harsh. Should journals desk reject papers without possibility for revision because the authors missed a particular piece of information "somewhere on the internet" outside of their expertise? Are those authors unfit to be researchers? I think we should expect students to be willing to learn intercultural skills, but I think it is too much to expect them to already have mastered them before applying. We don't ask that of aspiring students of our own culture, either.
