@cairdcoinheringaahing Imagine a "Super RO": The Room Owner can kick themselves.
A mod
And ROs can kick themselves
@cairdcoinheringaahing Now, you make a bot the RO, and put it in an infinite loop to kick itself.
Until when will the loop corrupt SE chat?
It gets a chat ban if kicked 3 times within a certain amount of times
@cairdcoinheringaahing How many hours or days then?
15:03
After the chat ban has passed, the script writer re-loads the bot and continues kicking the bot itself.
so I can chat ban my secret enemies by inviting them into 3 rooms and then kicking them? (or do I not understand the comment correctly)
> A user who has been repeatedly kick-muted three times in a row (for 30 minutes) will automatically have a moderator flag raised; this should normally serve to inform the moderators of a seriously disruptive person. They will also lose their privileges to create new rooms or invite users to existing rooms; once imposed, this restriction can only be removed by a moderator.
@mypronounismonicareinstate Yes, that's what I mean.
The perfect example of divide-and-conquer.
If you made a bot to repeatedly kick itself, it and you would be having a nice chat with the moderators very quickly
@cairdcoinheringaahing If the bot also kicked the moderators while chatting with the moderators in one of the chatrooms? (Assume it's made to kick everyone then)

@Third-party'Chef' The bot's account would probably be suspended, then they'd probably suspend you for disruptive behaviour
They wouldn't even talk with the bot account (duh) and they might not talk with you
@cairdcoinheringaahing Remember that it's the bot that's presenting the so-called 'disruptive behavior'.
@Third-party'Chef' And you who made it do that
If you made a bot that just upvoted every one of your answers, you'd get in trouble for vote manipulation, not the bot
@cairdcoinheringaahing But why? The bot is just kicking itself, not other people.
So it wouldn't cause problems towards other people, i.e. no disruptive behavior.
But its causing a nuisance by repeatedly notifying the moderators when it gets kicked
If you made a bot that just posting a random string of characters in a gallery room specially for the bot, no one would care
perhaps somebody should do that

@mypronounismonicareinstate Charcoal HQ
@mypronounismonicareinstate you don't even need the bot!
If you can muster up the imagination to be annoying enough, you can do it 100% manually!
At the moment, this is for the fun & silly conversations had in The Tarpit that might get in the way of on-topic conversations!
A Bot that Kicks Itself
Is this the place for Boolfuck? @AviFS

@Third-party'Chef' Not quite...
@Third-party'Chef' This is for the long silly stuff in the other room
@Jeremy This is just for moving the silly & off-topic conversations from our main room. Sorry for the bad name
@Jeremy Our main room is The Tarpit: Esolang Sandbox - Discuss New Esolang Ideas
room topic changed to The Tarpit's Silliness: (no tags)
