Q: How to model (computational chemistry) a molecule of benzene surrounded by 100 molecules of water?

Paul PerkeleHello Stack community! I have experience calculating molecular properties (mostly DFT), however, I would like to spend some time on molecular dynamics methods. I would like to ask your advice to direct me towards a program with which to calculate systems such as the annealing of a benzene molecul...

@Tyberius I don't have much experience with Reddit, are you able to suggest MMSE to the user?

@NikeDattani I'm not entirely sure how the community there would handle it. I think if a question has already been asked/answer on MMSE, nobody would have a problem with pointing it out. But they might not like if every question on their subreddit gets appended with "you could ask this on MMSE".
@Tyberius I suppose we could ask the mods of that sub-reddit if it's okay to notify people about the existence of MMSE when people are still looking for an answer to an MMSE-type question there?
@NikeDattani Were you referring to a specific one of the Reddit questions above or just in general?
Oooooh, I specific one!
If you click the arrow next to @Tyberius in that comment, you'll see which message I was replying to!
@NikeDattani Goes to show my inexperience with chat. I was always annoyed that replies didn't see to show you what message you were replying to, only the user. But the arrow works nicely for that.

it took me a while to learn things like that too...

I'll look into contacting the mods there (and maybe also on the material science subreddit) and see if they are open to suggestions to come to MMSE.
Thanks!
These feeds you've added (thanks so much by the way!) are opening my eyes even more to how many questions we're missing out on getting at MMSE! In my opinion almost all of them could be asked on MMSE and we could have something really almost as big as MathOverflow or Physics.SE .... that would really be the goal in my opinion!
