12:00 AM
Lol
But really though, I prefer calling it 5e
Cause that's all it is
There's gonna be a 6e some day plain and simple

Ben
They may use Beyond for that too?

(except I don't expect it to be that at all but you get it anyway right?)
@Ben that,......
If they do, that by no means dispells my distaste with the name

lol
it's just the name of a service
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yeah but it bothers me all a the same
I can't help it

Ben
12:10 AM
Ok that makes sense. I was thinking that was Stark... yet the lack of goatee was confusing

Are there any "official" anthropomorphic cat PCs in 5e?
"Official" being anything bar homebrew.

Shalv is playing a,... Tabaxi I think? I don't know if it's official material though

Tabaxi is in Volo's, and Shifters (Eberron) can be catlike.

Ben
Nice.
I think that will pass
It's for my future iteration of the "white power ranger" PC. Lol
Can't really have a Dragonborn anymore :P

Why is that?

Ben
My current PC is the "green power ranger" - a Green Dragonborn Monk.

1:01 AM
Ah
So no copy cat races

@Ben Tabaxi is in Volo's, yes :)

Q: Updating the Hot Network Questions List - now with a bit more network and a little less "hotness"!

CatijaSome of you may have noticed that we've been making some changes to the Hot Network Questions on the back end over the last week or so. I'm here announcing our first round of changes to how the HNQ works and give you some ideas of why we're starting here and where we're planning to go in the futu...

@Shalvenay hiya

@nitsua60 how're things going?

Second kid got the stomach bug today =(

3:48 AM
@nitsua60 aw man :/ that question I linked you earlier did get edited

Pared down, or what?

@nitsua60 reworked. not 100% yet (it's unclear what the question is), but it's no longer an XY question at least

4:31 AM
@nitsua60 Well that is so much better than I expected. They've done all of the important (IMO) changes people wanted. This is genuinely awesome.

ZaibisSo I am still unsatisfied with the responses I got for the way this post got moderated: How to roleplay my character's ethics according to the DM when I don't understand those ethics? CHEETAH: You do know that Barbarian is not a tank class, right? BUFFALO: Then what’s the point? GM: It’s a good thing you’ve got all those hit points... BUFFALO: See?! See? Why do I have all these hit points if I’m not a tank?
ORC: Bug tasty. CENTIPEDE: You’ll never know. BUFFALO: Technically as a centipede, while an arthropod, she’s not a member of the true bug family... CHEETAH: You are currently berserk, shouting bug facts... BUFFALO: I took a level of Druid.

12:04 PM
Nerds, nerds, please help
I need a Pathfinder class/monster that can challenge an L11(ish) Sacred Fist Warpriest using Snake Style and Cut From The Air.
I have a ghostly gibbering mouther to duel the rifle Alchemist and a Wolf Inquisitor (The Good Dog) to duel the ex-druid Witch, but I'm having trouble finding something that works against the Warpriest. If I attack once a turn his AC is like D20+23 and if I'm making iteratives he keeps using Snake Fang to punch far too many times
This is too broad for a question (I think?) so I need Youse People's helps.

Geeze. def too broad.

but also, what is the actual question?

@Frezak something using magic? magic doesn't necessarily care about AC.

@BESW that was delightfully weird

12:31 PM
@doppelgreener Is there any kind of creature or build that uses a lot of Reflex-targeting stuff that can survive in melee against a capable combattant? Short of just having a caster turn up with a dozen spells already running? The only thing that I know would be a real problem is Antilife Shell, but I don't want to just destroy the characters.

@Frezak I'm not sure, I'm not a PF expert alas.

Curses!
Might just have to be jerk and pull out a Beholder!
The Eye-King is a template, eh?
TIme for a Cyclops Pirate with dreadlocks that have tiny eyeballs at the end!

Q: When should a question be removed from the Hot Network Questions List?

SdjzAs it has been announced on the main meta, diamond moderators now have the ability to remove questions from the Hot Network Questions List. Since the policy on what to remove seems to be on a per-site basis, the same post also recommends the creation of a meta discussion with guidelines for both...

1:27 PM
Those changes to HNQ are very interesting.
> Each site can only have a max of five questions on the HNQ list at any given time.
This one might be one to watch in terms of overall traffic to the RPG.se in particular as we are usually pretty well represented on the HNQ list. Curious if it has any effect at all.

1:39 PM
@Rubiksmoose I suspect we're one of the sites that won't experience much change from that limit. We're well represented, but probably only at 3-4 HNQs well represented.

@doppelgreener Yeah I was wondering about that. Hard to get a feel for average representation without paying a lot of attention.
The only times I start thinking about it are when I see a lot of our Q hit HNQ. So perception bias is definitely a big factor.

1:53 PM
I feel great empathy for the DM in the school club who has a pushy player in a game full of beginners. :(

Yeah me too. :(

2:09 PM
Main Meta has introduced a fairly major tweak to how HNQ questions are handled here.

2:52 PM
@KorvinStarmast By RAW, a falling elephant is an improvised weapon and would deal 1d4+STR bludgeoning damage.
Also, the elephant (re: the druid) would take falling damage.

@DavidCoffron I don't think that's so much irony as it is the definition of a rules lawyer.

@Yuuki Is it? I always thought a rules lawyer is someone who sticks to the rules so fervently that it detracts from the flow/fun of the game

I suppose it differs from person to person.

i.e. GM says: "sure go ahead and roll a d20 to see if you can jump over the gap" | rules lawyer: "what do you mean? the rules very clearly say that his maximum long jump is 12 feet!"

3:00 PM
I've mostly heard it (and internalized it) as a person who tries to use varied rules to enforce their own preferred play.

@Yuuki Well that's not what a traditional "lawyer" does, so that seems like a misnomer if that is how it is colloquial understood

I just attempt to be a rules encyclopedia.

"This is what I'm pretty sure the book says, iirc. If you're making a different decision, that's fine, but I'd like to know."

That's in fact exactly what a traditional lawyer does. They use various legal interpretations, precedents, and arguments to get an optimal outcome for their side.

@goodguy5 I also attribute myself to that quality, and thought it was included in the label rules lawyer (and have called myself a "rules lawyer, but not an a**" on a few occasions)

They ignore rulings that don't suit their case (or try to find other rulings that refute them) in favor of finding ones that do.

3:02 PM
Then that's not a lawyer. That's a rules bully

@Yuuki No, that's what a lawyer in the real world does. A traditional lawyer is someone who practices law, i.e. has a deep understanding of law and precedent so that he can aid in the proceeds of the legal system
Since law is sometimes ambiguous, we get debate and trials (and it helps our legal system run), but in an ideal world, you would only need a "perfect" lawyer who knows the "unambiguous and all-encompassing" laws and can relay that information.

oh man, just wait until we have machine lawyers

Ostensibly, those are judges not lawyers.

since those three qualifiers are impossible we get "real-world lawyers" instead of the formal definition of a lawyer
@Yuuki hmm... i think you are right.
A lawyer (or attorney) is a term that was invented with the role of prosecuting or defending while a judge (or arbiter) is the term I'm thinking of
My bad
So when the book places the GM as the final rules arbiter it is taking power away from the "rules lawyers" in the same way that our system places the judge in the role above the real-world lawyers

@goodguy5 Until? We already do. The lion's share of work in the legal field is discovery and searching through legal precedent.
Both of which are pursued by machines in large legal firms these days.

3:08 PM
@Yuuki agreed, it's to the point where some paralegal studies programs actually teach databasing courses

@Yuuki no, I mean like "Grettings plaintiff Smith! I am Lawyer 033180 and I have been assigned to your case! I have a series of questions for you before we enter the courtroom"

@goodguy5 Maybe, but that's actually only a very small part of a lawyer's job.

@goodguy5 I don't think that will happen for a long time, if only because people won't hire them
People tend to trust people more than machines

And, IIRC, most cases don't even go to jury/courtroom trials.

@DavidCoffron Yeah the difference in definition is part of the reason why I asked them to specify the issue. The term can have lots of different nuances in my experience

3:11 PM
@Yuuki yep. less than 10% (source)

@DavidCoffron Well, that's specifically for criminal cases.

@Yuuki true

IIRC, lawyers still work on non-criminal affairs that don't involve some sort of offense like mergers and stuff.

although I imagine that civil cases have a similar number of pretrial settlemenets
While not as reputable a source there is this: Government survey shows 97 percent of civil cases settled
@Rubiksmoose Agreed. I argue rules often (not for my own benefit, but for my own understanding) outside of the game, and I've considered myself a rules lawyer as a result. but I'm not under Yuuki's definition

In any case, it seems like the person at the center of this question follows my definition of rules lawyer.

3:15 PM
yep

@Yuuki definitely seems that way

especially with the request to change vulnerabilites

This should be considered:
23 mins ago, by Yuuki
@KorvinStarmast By RAW, a falling elephant is an improvised weapon and would deal 1d4+STR bludgeoning damage.

that's very anti-rules imo (something I might even change in my own games, but not reflected in the rules)
@Yuuki There's also about 4 questions on falling objects/creatures and the damage they cause

@Yuuki Technically it would only be an improvised weapon if someone threw the elephant.

3:16 PM
@DavidCoffron yeah that is similar to me as well. My DMs often use me as a resource for RAW since we trust each other.

@GreySage Well, let's think about what part of the elephant makes contact with the target.

@DavidCoffron I'm also unclear if the player is doing that to fall on the enemies or if they think they can continue flying as an elephant like Naut said in their comment.

7
Q: If an object or creature is dropped on a monster, how much damage does each of them take?

KillerKellyIf a character who was under the effect of a growth potion (double height and 8x its weight) and weighed 2,400 lbs. was able to use Dimension Door to teleport 400 feet or more into the air, directly above a Huge-sized monster, and fell on it, how much damage would the falling creature - and the m...

If it's the feet, then that would be an unarmed strike. Therefore, it is a simple melee weapon and does 1+STR bludgeoning damage.

At first I thought the falling thing but now I'm not so sure.

3:18 PM
@Yuuki roll 2d360 to determine which side of the elephant is pointing down...

@Yuuki 7 bludgeoning, elephants have 22 Strength

@Rubiksmoose If it is the flying elephant thing, the rules are clear: "You retain the benefit of any features from your class, race, or other source and can use them if the new form is physically capable of doing so."

@DavidCoffron Dumbo can fly as long as he has his non-magical magical feather.

@DavidCoffron oh for sure (and yet another example of rules lawyering only for advantage)

3:22 PM
@Yuuki so his spellcasting focus?

@DavidCoffron I thought spellcasting foci are still magical? Like, they'll light up if someone casts Detect Magic?

@Yuuki hmmm I'm not sure that they are actually.

@Yuuki not as far as I know, although for Dumbo it doesn't matter as the material component for fly is "a wing feather from any bird"

Not as far as I know. A bard's instrument is just an instrument.

5
Q: Are Casting Foci Magic Items?

JAMalcolmsonBy "casting foci", I am referring to arcane focus, druidic focus, and holy symbol, because they're all just different fluff for the same thing, just keynamed for class restrictions. When I say magic item, I mean magic in the sense that it has supernatural properties, not "magic item" as a rarity...

3:25 PM
I kinda want to play a character that starts with an empty component pouch.

Re: rules lawyering, I think it'd be a less of a problem if people would play less games whose rules looked an awful lot like law books.

It would seem that foci don't "bear magic" (the requirement for detect magic), but instead merely "channel magic"

But gathering reagents would be fun for no one else.

@Yuuki Maybe if you find a group that wants to do the gritty survival game (stranded on a desert island starting with nothing and having to craft everything for yourself)

3:26 PM
@Yuuki we actually had to do that at the beginning of our campaign which is how the adventure was written.

@DavidCoffron Gotta find some eggs so I can cast Fireball.

@DavidCoffron Now I want a wizard to cast fly using a penguin feather.

@Yuuki I thought fireball was bat guano

@DavidCoffron definitely guano

Guano and sulfur.
I think you can extract sulfur from rotten eggs.

3:28 PM
I mean sure, you can rules-lawyer many games with simpler rule sets too, but usually the newer wave of games is more open about the designer intent and therefore there's less of a "case" for adopting a ruling just because it's one technically correct way to read the rules.

It would be interesting to go through the game picking your spells based on what reagents you have (or expect to have) rather than what you would need otherwise

our wizard searched for some in the aforementioned adventure and the DM claimed that there are no bats in the Underdark. And we turned it into a running joke.

@DavidCoffron Yeah, that's partially what I was thinking.

@Rubiksmoose Ergo, no baseball.

@kviiri I highly recommend trying to be a rules lawyer in Paranoia.

3:29 PM
@Rubiksmoose I think I've heard you mention that before (or just dejavu)

@kviiri lol! or Cricket!

@kviiri The official sport of the Underdark is "Hunt the surface dweller". Failing that it's Soccer.

@DavidCoffron Good memory! :) He stuck to his guns and no guano was found.

What about werebat guano? Does that count?
(a question that is technically stackable but absurd to a ridiculous degree)

3:30 PM
@DavidCoffron Only under the light of a full moon.

@DavidCoffron hahaha who knows
The DM's logic was based on his idea of the ecology of the Underdark which is his to control, but doesn't adress the fact that D&D ecology is gibberish to begin with. He claimed there were no insects or fruit for the bats to eat.

And that's also the kind of question that would show up on HNQ, so I'd rather not even ask...

shrug

@Rubiksmoose To be fair, he's right in the sense that bats typically nest at cave entrances.

@DavidCoffron good thing we never ask absurd questions here! ;)

3:32 PM
You won't find many bats deep inside the cave system.

@Yuuki Oh absolutely, it was pretty counterintuitive but made some amount of sense. He is a DM that lives and dies by logic which honestly confuses the heck out of me how he continues to play 5e (but I digress).

@Rubiksmoose Given that it seems like most of the ecology of the Underdark is based on Fungi not Plants, that makes sense.

@Rubiksmoose Highly advisable, just don't betray any knowledge about the GM section.

At the same time, the Underdark is far more ecologically diverse than any real-world cave system.
So it wouldn't be wrong to say that the Underdark could support one or more bat species either.

Q: Does werebat guano satisfy the material component requirement for Fireball?

David CoffronIn one of the adventures (noted in the spoiler box below), you can meet werebats. Fireball has the material component A tiny ball of bat guano and sulfur Could these werebats be used to facilitate the collection of this material component without the need for normal bats?

I decided to ask it, although planning it so it didn't just sounds really gross was a little tough

3:38 PM
nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
My favorite D&D site got hit with the "free materials only" hammer

@goodguy5 Which?

I thought that was a while ago

@Yuuki yeah it was more a case of being way more simulationsist than any of us were expecting or wanting lol

I used it last month, I think

3:40 PM
@goodguy5 thank goodness though. They were responsible for so many misphrasings and such spawning at least a few non-questions.

@Rubiksmoose if I flag this as offensive, does anything actually bad happen, other than maybe a mod saying "Don't do that"?

@goodguy5 It might actually lol

and it was dndwiki that causes all the issues, imo, not fandom

I mean, the newer fan content post and fan site kit by WoTC are fairly clear

@goodguy5 If you flag this as offensive, every chat user with aggregate 10K+ rep will get a little blue bubble in the lower-left.

3:43 PM
ugh, nevermind then

And then we have to look at it and decide whether to verify it or not.

@goodguy5 They were both big issues actually.
(and stil lare)

@Rubiksmoose agree to disagree

@Yuuki And if enough flags go unverified you can get penalized iirc

now I can't look at rules at work easily
Maybe I'll just start bringing my books in

3:44 PM
@goodguy5 I fell you there though. I can't access any rules on work computer. Not even any of the wikis.

@Rubiksmoose I recently found out that I can through google chrome (even though I.E. is blocked out), which is weird

@Rubiksmoose YOU SHALL NOT FEL ME HERE, THERE, OR ANYWHERE

@goodguy5 Dr. Seuss the Paladin

@DavidCoffron link pls

@goodguy5 hahaha. But what if I am no man?

3:45 PM
@goodguy5 I was not aware @Rubiksmoose is a warlock.

@goodguy5 I just use dndbeyond, which for some reason is blocked on IE

@DavidCoffron that is weird! usually it is blocked at the backend I thought for most IT. [citation needed] [not an IT person]

@Rubiksmoose old computer system + small company + very low budget IT dept? idk

Sounds about right to me!

@DavidCoffron living the dream. I have full beyond access, but blocked at work

3:47 PM
I just end up using my phone.

@Rubiksmoose I'm actually very impressed by the mobile-compatability of dndbeyond tbh. I used to use it all the time at my old job

@Yuuki yep. it'll be reviewed by those users, and an aggregate decision will either dismiss the flag or nuke the post and suspend the poster from chat for 30 minutes. Only the "flag for moderator" flags go to moderators only, but they go to absolutely every moderator across the network who happens to be in chat, not just those involved in this site.

@DavidCoffron Yeah it is pretty nice.

@doppelgreener And sometimes you get flags for russian spambots hours after they were raised/resolved, which really confuse me.

@doppelgreener Yeah. On the one hand, I dislike "room culture" because that leads to The Chatroom Which Shall Not Be Named. But on the other hand, the current chat flag system has a real problem with context or lack thereof.

3:51 PM
@Yuuki Yeah it is an issue :-/

@Yuuki Hey, I saw you somehow create a thing that seems to be both a quote and a link to a previous chat message. How did you combine the two? Or is this done purely manually?

@vicky_molokh > [text](link)
Oh wait, you mean linking to a previous chat message.
In that case, you just post the permalink to that chat message.
Chat.SE will one-box it.

@Yuuki This one.

ah that is actually a link to a comment. Same deal though
If you copy the comment link and paste it here it will do that automagically

@Yuuki There's two parts to that: (1) After You-Know-Which got nuked, there was a network-wide shift in how chatrooms got handled from a moderation perspective. Room culture is now fully susceptible to a more network-wide standard. (2) Chat moderation is garbage and the whole thing would be best thrown in a bin and redesigned from scratch.

Nnno, that didn't work.

@vicky_molokh It has to be by itself.

Post just the link.

1 min ago, by Yuuki
In that case, you just post the permalink to that chat message.

3:54 PM
There you go. :)

Ah. Thanks!

You can also grab permalinks from the transcript.

That also works for question and answer posts, and twitter posts. (If Twitter adds a little ?s=19 or whatever onto the end of your link you will need to delete that bit.)

@doppelgreener and Q/A comments!

@doppelgreener I think they fixed the Twitter thing recently.
Gonna test it out real quick.
The @cincylibrary is adding social service resources to its atrium. They can help with food, housing, health & veteran's issues. Check it out: https://www.cincinnatilibrary.org/press/2019/SocialServicesPressReleaseFinal.pdf
Yep, ?s=19 doesn't prevent one-boxing anymore.

3:56 PM
@doppelgreener I also think (although I don't remember if this is why I do it or if it was just habit), that you have to remove the "mobile." before if you access from your phone.

@Yuuki nice!

Yeah, you'll have to remove mobile.

@Yuuki oh, hooray!
@DavidCoffron corrrect

^ That's a link.

@Yuuki this is beautiful, thank you

4:08 PM
I wanted to make a Winged Tiefling Warlock who would double grasp of hadar someone for an extra 2d6 fall damage, but you can only grasp once. Why the lack of symmetry with repelling blast...

Huh, this fanfiction does a pretty good job of explaining away the As You Know trope present in the original work.
As You Know is a pretty annoying trope if it isn’t justified, imo.

Someone explains this thing? :O
What's the explanation?

4:26 PM
Well As you know... [I actually don't know]

As You Know is a trope where exposition occurs but logically shouldn't.
tl;dr characters explain things that should be common knowledge
For example, "Jim, who is your uncle..."

Oh, I meant, what's the fan-fiction's way of explaining away the trope?

So the way it works in the original work is that one of the main character asks about this form of magic that really should be common knowledge. The fanfiction explains as thus: the character was born really premature and weak and since this magic is only used by warriors, their parents tried to hide all knowledge of the aforementioned magic to keep their kid from becoming one of said warriors out of a mistaken attempt to protect them.

Ah good ol' fanfiction convoluted explanations

It's not as convoluted as some things (cough cough adding time travel to things that never had time travel in the first place).

4:35 PM
@Yuuki nice :)

But but. Time travel is the only way to fix the glaring plot hole sometimes

Bah. Everyone knows the best way to resolve plot holes is to ignore them entirely, and make the story about something else in the third act.

@Yuuki What does it say about me and the trope when I use it in everyday technical discussion at my work?

The real plot holes are the friendships you make along the way

I don't consider As You Know a plot hole.
It could be considered flawed writing, but it's not a plot hole by my definition.

4:38 PM
@Yuuki I was referring to the use of time travel
That's not usually a solution to As You Know either

Can we get some eyes on this post
We are actually workshopping it here but Naut thinks it might still be too broad.

@Rubiksmoose Thank you for adding that link, I was about to mention that was necessary
This one:
Discussion about improving this question is taking place here. — Rubiksmoose 28 secs ago
When a mainsite post is getting worked on somewhere, there should always be a link to that somewhere on the mainsite post.

No problem! It was on my to-do list when it was clear that discussion about the new one was going to stick around there.

For those wondering why: because otherwise it leads to mainsite posts getting major changes made for apparently no visible reason at all, which leads to rollbacks, apparent edit wars, users getting flagged for apparently making major changes without proper consultation, diamond moderators getting called in, etc.

@doppelgreener is that the extended version of this is why we can't have nice things 8^D

4:54 PM
@KorvinStarmast nah, we can have the nice things, you just gotta keep mainsite users in the loop.
Incidentally I'm one of the people who occasionally caused those headaches, well before I was a moderator. :D
@Rubiksmoose fwiw it looks fine

@doppelgreener I thought so as well, but I was trying to head off any issues. New user, new player, (problematic class). Just trying to make sure both game and stack stuff goes as smoothly as we can make it :)

Cool beans

Also I did think it was a good question and I think we might get some really clever answers possibly.

@doppel Got it. I am not sure why Yuuki summoned me earlier about falling elephants, but I'm gonna pass on that one. It was almost air elephant ...

@KorvinStarmast (I think it was in response to a comment you made on the school group Q this morning)
Man, helping out in chat is just so much smoother than helping via comments.

5:01 PM
It's almost like realtime conversation helps get a lot done, or something.

hah. Well when you put it like that...

@Rubiksmoose How that turned into falling elephants is beyond me. The problem is a complete donkey at the table, not elephant.

@KorvinStarmast I believe this is the relephant story

@KorvinStarmast ooh that one was.... harsh (in a good way ;) )
@MikeQ that got a chuckle

5:06 PM
@DavidCoffron I know ways to deal with bullies, but I am at the moment not in a place whree I can sit down and walk through how to tell a teenager I've never met deal with a bully i've never met in a school system I am not close to and a faculty advisor I've never met.

@KorvinStarmast I get that. I was just appreciating the pun xD

5:23 PM
@DavidCoffron thanks, I need to get out of chat since I am losing the plot ...

@KorvinStarmast .... i see what you're doing there :D

Q: Is it appropriate to downvote an answer that may have been good at the time it was posted, but is now incorrect?

mdricheySuppose that while browsing through old questions, I find that the top answer, while almost certainly correct at the time it was posted, is now incorrect. I add a new answer with the current, correct information. Should the old answer be downvoted?

It has 52hp and AC6, but no attack, other than an unarmed one, I suppose.

Depends on whose policy. Are you trying to bring a Haungharassk PC to someone's game?

I was asking for AL
and not a PC, a ranger companion. It's a beast of CR 1/4 or lower
dang it, I forgot about the "medium or smaller" stipulation

Problem solved then

@goodguy5 Yeah, that one is annoying
No Giant Owl for me :(

@goodguy5 I haven't followed up much on the new AL (it seems to way overcomplicate things to where it doesn't feel like 5e any more to me), but in season 7, adventure modules were not eligible

Q: How can I get players to stop ignoring or overlooking the plot hooks I'm giving them?

BookwyrmI have run a couple of campaigns with a few of my friends, and these people are genuinely interested in Dungeons & Dragons. However, no matter what I do, they will not focus on the story, instead treating it like some sort of slaughter-fest. They do not really kill everything that moves, which ...

Q: How can I deal with players who don't consider the narrative?

Aldath Le'CardeI am currently GMing a D&D Next game and, so far, we're having a blast. However, I noticed that I have a group of players who hope to have everything served to them, require several explanations in a row to make them understand how things work, and forget about their resources. My players just d...

This one @goodguy5?

put the yypo back!
The question I'm trying to think of had a DM where the players would basically be like "look at that tornado over a pyramid over there. I bet the DM put up some trap for us, joke's on you, nerd"

Q: Players skipping side quests just to have a laugh at the DM

MannerSomething that's happening frequently at my table recently is that the players are making choices deliberately to waste my preparation. If they see something that obviously took some preparation that they can skip, they'll skip it on purpose and then laugh at ruining my plans. If they learn that...

yes!
thank you!

@Sdjz Fast find wow. Gratz
I remembered it, but had no idea how to find it

I googled "rpg stack laugh dm" first result :)
I remembered the title

@Sdjz I was trying to remember the title, and I thought it was "at my expense"

7:31 PM
That one sounds more intentionally spiteful in contrast to the other question's "didn't even notice" side.

@Sdjz Wow, what a jerk-move

I've been reading through HotDQ and there is a spoilers towards the end! I didn't even think that is possible

@DavidCoffron You sure that's 5e and some some 3.5 port of dragon queen?
