Any comic book experts on? I am trying to remember the name of a comic series set in space about soldiers/mercenaries let be an officer who had the torso of a human but the body of a snake. It ran during the 1980's. My Google-fu is not sufficient to track it down.

There does not seem to be a comics SE site or else I would have asked the question on their chat. (Sorry this is OT).

Hmm, ok. Still not sure about the class choice though. Is there anything the party has been struggling with?

@MikeQ Yeah, getting to play often enough with all of that annoying RL stuff getting in the way. :)

Bard or Wizard is fine, I am sure either will fit ... go with your gut.

If you can, at least one form of crowd control spell ... my ranger has fog cloud that we have used tactically once, and probably will again.

But all that it does is for a brief time make seeing difficult

@KorvinStarmast Not much I can do about RL problems, I'm afraid

I built two versions of the character. Both have Hideous laughter, Detect magic, Sleep, plus other spells. Not many powerful CC options at level 1, unless I'm missing something.
