It's good to be able to see actual play. I feel like a lot of the examples I've been seeing in the book/gazeteer are more about illustrating a specific rule, rather than showing how the game plays out.

When running Cthulhu Dark, I strongly suggest that you use the scenario creation rules. You can do without 'em, but they're designed to dovetail with the system mechanics so that it's almost impossible for your sessions to not quickly escalate the suspense and horror atmosphere.
When running Roll For Shoes, I find that it's most fun when every possible question or uncertainty is resolved with a roll of the dice.
