@Tsundoku Can you explain to me how a person who has been suspended gets to comment on questions?? What is going on here anyway? french.stackexchange.com/questions/50751/…
Also, that person is editing questions.

@Lambie A ban from chat is independent from a suspension from the site. That user is not suspended from the site as such.

@Tsundoku That user was suspended from the site at first. Then, s/he asked to be suspended from this chat. I don't know if that happened or not. What did you do? Restore her site privileges and remove her chat ones??

@Lambie What is the evidence that they were suspended from the site?

If you look on the profile, there is the number 1 re reputation points, just like for me.
So, I don't get it.

Then we must be talking about different users.

7:52 PM
Look at the id of the person who edited this: french.stackexchange.com/questions/50751/… Same user, right?

That account is not suspended. I am watching their actions more closely now.
Yes, and I don't see anything wrong with that edit.

That number 1 reputation point-thing has been there for several days. What exactly does it mean?

That account has over 3,000 reps. I don't understand where you get the "1 for reputation points" from.

Sorry about MY mistake.

Nothing at all? Much of what mods do is not visible to you.
I understand you feel treated unfairly compared to another user, but this is not the end of the story for that user.
@Lambie I hope you're not too optimistic about this...
"You and the other mods don't seem to get that most of my issues were the result of being harassed and harangued." That just shows you don't understand your real issues, I'm afraid.

I have also been in positions where I pointed out errors and was not heard. Sometimes people will just be stubborn in their mistakes. Well, it's their life, so I have learnt to let it go.
If you flag them as unfriendly or unkind, that leaves a record in that user's account (unless the flag gets rejected). That's one thing that mods take into consideration. it's impossible for moderators to read every single comment, so they rely on what gets flagged.
This is a site about French. It is not prohibited to speak ungrammatical or unidiomatic English (or even French). It's not great, but it's not the end of the world. You would do yourself a great favour by being more relaxed about this.
And I'm saying this as a "grammar nazi".

I am going beyond that here. Please listen. If the English in a question makes it not understandable, how can it properly be translated? If I have said anything about the English, it was to try and understand what the OP means. Not translate what I can imagine it means; what the bad English means. Do you understand my point here or not?
Several times when I have questioned French translations due to the poor English in the question, I have been told the OP is not a fluent English speaker.
Exactly, so clarification is required BEFORE attempting to translate.
Let me give you a concrete example of what I mean.

If the intention is difficult to understand, then that is obviously bad. But I wouldn't get into endless arguments about it. Leave a comment and move on. You can also flag the question as "low-quality" after leaving a comment.

Bear with me a minute.

9:04 PM
Now Lambie thinks I banned her from chat:
1
Q: Suspension from French chat has suspended me from this chat. How can that be?

LambieFirst, I was suspended for a year from the French site. And I have appealed it. Then, (several days later) I was having a discussion with a moderator in the French chat, which I thought was in depth and going along fine in terms of questions I have, and boom, he suspended me without warning just ...
