@Vikas sure. Fruit is usually welcome because it’s sweet. Our dog likes pretty much everything that isn’t tart, and it’s part of a wolf’s diet, so nothing unusual.
Last summer he figured out that he likes the berries of our Serviceberry shrubs and sat there, gingerly picking them off the lower branches one by one.
I've never seen any of my own dogs eat fruit, but back when I had them/lived with my parents, we had a Dalmatian who liked jalapenos, and a mutt who would pull sweet corn off the stalk to eat it.
I think people here don't give fruits to stray dogs because they are relatively expensive than other common food. That's why I haven't seen it. I will try to give some fruits to some stray dog (when nobody is seeing me) XD
