9:35 AM
hi

1 hour later…
10:48 AM
hello

@NiallC. You were spot on re. shampoo. The pooch had two full baths and one foot bath since his arrival. The first was to get rid of some of the dirt and dust from the previous place (stable, he had itchy skin and we had allergy issues from the hay), the other times because he stepped into a pile of you-know-what that was missed by whoever did the scooping. Upside: My floors have never been cleaner, because I have to tackle the regular dirt my little gardener constantly drags inside.
Hi @JacobB!

11:04 AM
@JacobB Nice new avatar, was my drawing an inspiration for you to get a new avatar?

2 hours later…
12:42 PM
@lila I'm pretty sure I still have the same avatar on Pets.SE
I have a different avatar in the chat and on other sites, though.

@JacobB I was asking about the avatar on chat, it is new, different that the one you had before. And yes, on Pets you have still the same avatar, the same I drawn yesterday in Paint.
@JacobB On Pets you have this green with big rectangles, on chat you had green with small squares but now you have this metallic blue, and on droning you have also green with small squares.

Right now, I still see the small green squares for my avatar here.
But I did change my avatar on Drones briefly, maybe it just hasn't caught up yet.

1:02 PM
Okay then nevermind, maybe I see different avatar because of reasons, I heard it could happen because it takes some time to synchronize all their servers or something to the same state. I don't really understand how it works. But on chat I saw a new blue metallic avatar and it's why I asked.

It did change briefly. The inner workings of how the avatar syncs is a mystery :)

1:43 PM
Okay so now I see the green small squares avatar that you had on chat ever since I remember :D

5 hours later…
7:04 PM
@Stephie I tell mine to wipe their paws when they're coming into the house, but they never listen to me! Much like teenagers. :)

7:21 PM
@NiallC. LOL! Somewhere in the future I’ll have a command for that on the list of tricks available. If I can teach “sit” and “down” and getting toweled down to a cat, that should be doable with a GSD.

I agree, should be possible. I've just never had any luck with it.
I've got those microfiber doormats that soak up water to help with the rainy season; other than that, lots of vacuuming and mopping in the high-traffic areas.

8:03 PM
@lila and @Elmy and @HarryVervet: Would you like this? Not too sure, it’s lacking a lot of details.

8:28 PM
@Stephie I say yes we want this, but also I cannot predict how will it be received because one should not really use spices in animal food, human cuisine nor any else, the salt percentage should be at adequate levels, not too much not too little since it's the major source of vital micronutrients sodium and chloride, but beyond that I cannot see room for any elaboration.
But I guess it could be a good idea for question because of valuable answers why it is a bad idea, how some of human cuisine spices are toxic for dogs, etc.

@lila “don’t” can be an answer.

@Stephie I'd say with a little rephrasing the question could be on topic here. In the end it's about dietry needs of a pet, but I'm afraid in the current form users will just tell them not to feed chicken brests but special dog food (and they would be right to do so). OP needs to add details why this diet is necessary

But I still believe it would need some editing.
@Elmy very much agree.

And explaination how dogs, unlike most humans, don't even need spices to enjoy food; dogs could literally find a pile of poop appetizing.

Just tell me if I should migrate it when you have made a decision.

8:33 PM
@Stephie I say we should migrate it, but immediately add a comment to ask for more details

I feel bad now, in the past I had migrated 2 questions to Biology SE and didn't ask whether they want them :(

@lila You really have no reason to feel bad. If the question would have been closed here, migrating it to a site where it's on topic is a service to the OP.

@Elmy Okay then, yes they were both on topic.

@lila At least that's my oppinion. I participate in several small Stacks with quite narrow scopes and sometimes it's extremely frustrating to see new users having their questions closed without receiving any comment or help. I didn't learn how SE works in a day or even a week. Without the help of some dedicated users, I wouldn't be here today.

@Elmy It's inspiring, I think you are right.

8:41 PM
Now excuse me while I pass out due to stupit shift to winter time. Have a good night, everyone.

Okay :( good night and get well soon, I mean regenerating sleep deficiencies.

8:58 PM
All yours!

Nice thanks, I just finished sharpening my mouse cursor to be ready for retagging and saying welcome to Pets :D

2 hours later…
11:15 PM
Good night.

Bye
