Had a surprise this weekend after coming home from the LFS and chain pet store to get a new gravel vacuum for my small aquarium--four fish in it instead of two. I'd suspected the platies in there were a male and female for a while, now I know for sure

Here's hoping, there's only two fry right now that made it to be big enough to not get eaten, but they're so far still in there.

I'd been feeling like there might have been fry somewhere in the tank, but didn't see anything until a tiny little fish popped up from one of the hides Saturday afternoon. I don't have anything to isolate them into, and wasn't planning on more in the tank anyway (or even actually keeping the platies, though they'll probably stick around for a bit; they were intended to help the tank cycle)
