Has anyone been watching the recent superhero TV series that have been coming out?
I thought Flash was pretty good, and Daredevil was the best thing to happen to superheros on television since Adam West.

I still need to watch Daredevil. Been sucked back into DS9 so that is dominating my TV watching time lately.
You'll want time to watch it for sure. They're very good at making you want to watch the next episode right away.

Good to know :)
Not really cliffhangers per say, but but leaving side-plots unanswered sort of thing.
I ended up binge watching it over a weekend.
But then again, I don't really have that much self-control over those sorts of things. So I might not be the best use case..
I'm not much into Star Trek, I used to watch The Next Generation while jogging, but it never really kept me interested enough to watch it otherwise.
Which is funny, because I really enjoy Stargate.

I dropped Netflix because there was nothing on it I wanted to watch; I have to find a way to watch Daredevil because I have heard it's fantastic.
If you want a good modern, older Sci-Fi that no one has watched, watch "Threshold". It has Carla Gugino, Brent Spiner, and Peter Dinklage in starring roles against Lovecraftian science horrors.
@JoshDM Set up a free month trial and cancel once you've watched it :P
Although Netflix also bought the rights to Power Man and Iron Fist, so I imagine they're going to be expanding the series next year.
@JoshDM Sweet, that sounds right up my alley.
I can't tell if I've heard the name before. Or it's just that scifi can't come up with new names.

I watched a bit of Stargate. It's on my long list of things to watch more of eventually.

Yeah, I have a pretty good list of things I need to watch too.
I'm almost finished with Stargate, my wife hadn't seen it before so naturally we had to watch it.
Then of course is Farscape.
I still haven't watched Gotham which all my coworkers say is good.
@Spiderman Threshold was released the same season as Invasion and Surface, each of which had a premiere episode involving aliens and ocean water. Threshold was about a government response team, Invasion was about aliens in a hurricane in the Florida Keys, and Surface was about some kid who captured a Loch Ness Monster or something. I never watched Invasion or Surface, so I am only going by what I recall from the commercials.
I think people got all confused because the advertised premises of all three were so similar that no one watched any of them.
@JoshDM Kind of like when The Fog came out the same time as The Mist. :p
Gotham is OK, but not as good as it should be. Many times it's, "Hey let me ask you a RIDDLE because I like RIDDLES I'm going to be THE RIDDLER" or "You walk like a PENGUIN let me call you PENGUIN" or "You can call me CAT because every scene I'm in, I'm walking all over the furniture and walls and fake-parkouring all over the place, and I like to drink milk from a dish because I'm weird".
haha yeah I heard about the catwoman part.
@Spiderman Or like when Armageddon and Deep Impact came out.

Seems to happen quite a bit :D
I wonder if there's a conspiracy theory about movie producers using the same idea and seeing who can make a better movie out of it.

Q: What color toy should I get for my dog?

michaelpriI recently got a dog and it loves to play fetch with toys. I know that dogs are color blind, but not like they see black and white, just less colors than humans see. I'm pretty sure any color toys will work, but what is the best color toy to get my dog? I need a color that the dog can easily dist...
