8:30 AM
Good morning

Morning

How are you doing?

Just got out of bed. Somehow I'm still tired, but couldn't fall asleep anymore
At least the weather looks promising today

What's the time where you are?
Weather here looks great too, I should totally go for a walk today

Oh, and cookies for breakfast ^_^. That always improves my mood

8:37 AM
Aww yes I also have some cake for later
I am currently tech supporting a seminar
But cake after

10:30. IIRC we both live in Germany, right?

Ah yes right

During workdays I get up at 6:00 AM, so it's really nice to have a sleep-in and laze around in bed on the weekend

Even if I try I always wake up early on the weekend too :/ But naps are easier on the weekend, I really like naps

@Elmy you two too?
Saturday = farmers market for us.

8:43 AM
@Stephie Oh do you sell something?

@SerenaT We buy! I love to cook and the selection there is just the best.

@Stephie Oh I wish we had a good one, but especially right now the market does not offer a lot of different ingredients
@Stephie I tend to go to the farmers in my area directly they usually have a small shop on property

Yeah - same principle, just a few in one place. Plus a few from further away. A fishmonger, a cheese cart, an Italian butcher... some local craftsmen.
And before we always finished with coffee in town, sometimes even breakfast/brunch.

9:03 AM
That does sound like a great saturday indeed

In the rural area where my parents live, farmer markets and shops are dying. Even before The Plague began. There was one traditional butcher not far from here, but that one closed 2 years ago. Now you have a lot of asparagus around, but not much else.

5 hours later…
2:36 PM
hi

3:35 PM
hii

All sites probably have their own recurring cliche tunes that seem to never ever fall out of favor. Ones I know of in our site:
- pregnant platy fish
- betta fish at the bottom of the tank
- cat doesn't want to eat
- cat scared all the time
- dog mouthing things
- dog takes dumps indoors
- why all the fish in my 0.1 gallon tank are sick and dying
What are those you know of? :D

7:02 PM
@Elmy In my small town there were a lot of small, family stores and shops; in one place there was a whole "avenue" with one shop next to another in a line all along the "avenue"; over 10 years ago they have built a large shopping center around 200m away from the "avenue"; all the shops had been struggling since then, but nowadays, due to the restrictive measures related to The Pathogen they are almost all completely abandoned (bankrupt).
And there had been a florist store long ago - now it not only has gone bankrupt, but the building (which is completely empty inside) has been having broken windows since months and they didn't do anything about it.
Walking along this "avenue", or any other similar places, especially in the small town like mine, feels like visiting the "light-edition" city of Pripyat (Ukrainian abandoned "ghost-town" city after Chernobyl power plant disaster).

@lila my <animal> ate <food or non-food>.

haha true

7:26 PM
@lila My dog won't eat unless s/he's fed by hand
@lila And "There's a red blister at the neuter inscision". That one's not too often, but every once in a while

@Elmy Both good ones! :D Now, I also recalled that there was a recent question "dog doesn't go for walk unless the whole house walks with him" and for some reason I found it one of the most adorable and funny titles (although no denying that it must have been a huge nuisance to owners) :D

@lila Yeah, that's like "You'll love each other and all have fun together, OR ELSE!" XD
Alright, switching off for tonight. Have a lovely evening

Good night, thank you, and see you soon!
