knowing the maths is important
and very useful in a lot of cases (especially when debugging)
but for the most part, more than knowing the math, it's important to know how we can implement any alg in that framework
experience with frameworks is important
@PrateekMourya for eg, you don't need to learn the math behind the adam optimizer to implement it in tensorflow (or keras)
but it helps on a deeper level to understand what's going in your network
especially when things go wrong
