@RebeccaChernoff: I don't think we need to have a small group of users pointing out a single nominee during the Town Hall Chat.

A: Whats with the recent spurt of chain editing?

tzenesSo I can't say for certain, but I have noticed an uptick in editing (and commenting) amongst a certain group of people. My guess would be it has something to do with this page: http://se.awio.com/election.html As [Copy Editor] and [Strunk & White] are two of the badges highlighted, it's not...

You're running for an election. Your activity is part of that.
Why isn't it ok for people to ask you to clarify that?
@RebeccaChernoff Why is it okay to put out a single user just for the sake of putting his name in a bad light when there is no reason for that?

Over the last few days, we've seen a large number of edits from certain users. Frequently rolling back their own changes or having other users do the same. Given that an edit bumps the home page, what is the minimum quality you believe an edit should have?

Tom Wijsman: You have recently been edit warring; in at least one case, to bury information about yourself. Do you have any good reason for doing this? As a mod, how would your respond to other users engaging in edit wars? How can you ensure that as a moderator you don't abuse your privileges to simply hide any post you don't like?

Who would you not want to see elected as a mod and why? Please back your assertions with examples?
So if people shouldn't be considering your activity in evaluating you as a candidate, what should they be evaluating?
@RebeccaChernoff Of course they can, but I don't see a point to point out solely my activity.

I think asking a question of 1 candidate, some candidates, or all candidates is acceptable.
A specific user that I will not name for the sake of respect (and that's not me) has been flooding over the weekend, why is his activity not pointed out at a question?
Why does a very minor thing from my whole history be explicitly pointed out in a question? Why does this meta post necessarily be used as a way to give me a bad name in the upcoming Town Hall Chat?
It only gives you a bad name if you let it.
@RebeccaChernoff There might be cases where questions towards 1 candidate, but I don't see this as working.
@RebeccaChernoff Yes; the first question is backed up as you have seen, the second question I'll refer to the comments of that answer and leave that I have nothing more to say about it.
@RebeccaChernoff Oh, the others agreed that the last question is not really productive; it makes sense, I'll leave simple answers and ignore them. Sorry to interrupt you, thank you for your time and awareness...
I never said some of the questions were over the line.
You're running for an election. If you think it isn't ok for people to question the activity that shows people what sort of user you are, then I don't know what to tell you. |:
The last question by yoda was the incentive to contact you, it's no longer present. There is nothing wrong with the activity, but it can be made that way if they insist and nothing holds them back. But as only the questions and answers are covered in the summary and no additional discussion or questions are allowed then there forms no problem.
