@Lyxal I was wondering if you could shed some light on what’s going on with ‘>' here

@AaronMiller when comparing numbers and strings, it uses python's string comparison
> The relational operators compare the Unicode values of the characters of the strings from the zeroth index till the end of the string. It then returns a boolean value according to the operator used.

@Lyxal So why is H greater than 30000?

H is 72 which considering string lexical comparison is greater than 30000?
that's what i think is happening

H is 72, 3 is 40 something
There's nothing to compare after the 3, so it stops there
@AaronMiller ^

@user that bug is now fixed

Got my answer down to 6 bytes, thanks!
Btw who/what is George? A new meme I should know about?

@user GEORGE is a nobel animal
it's to do with the esolangs.org discord server

Oh

it's a web ring consisting of the websites of some of the esoserver members

Why does it say George, though?

3:21 AM
I don't question it. Neither should you

dah, pythonanywhere doesn't allow for multithreading
meaning I can't have fancy session handling after all

is the link functionality broken in the interpreter or something? I cannot seem to generate try it online links or submission templates from the website, I had to do it manually.

4:14 PM
@ManishKundu Yes it is. There was a change to some stuff earlier that seems to have broken it. I've submitted an issue for it on the GitHub repository.

4:35 PM
i think lyxal is trying to do some multithreading stuff on heroku which isn't working yet(heroku is a pain to setup)
so the current site is a bit borken

4:45 PM
I noticed if you edit the code then the new code now executes on the same page without reloading, that's nice.

4:59 PM
@Razetime BORK ALERT 🚨 BORK ALERT 🚨 BORK ALERT

5 hours later…
10:13 PM
Okay I've rolled everything back on the site because a) pythonanywhere doesn't support multithreading anyway and b) the jquery was messing up the link generation I think
okay nvm I just saw HN's PR fixing it

11:03 PM
There's no way jQuery messed anything up, you just need more jQuery

Well it's fixed now
