how can someone fly like this
What to learn to avoid being harassed?
Bullies were only in school, so as long as I didn't go to school, I wouldn't be bullied.
hehe
u show them kung fu acrobatics
they will get scared
But obscene men can be anywhere.
budy building
tough guy doesn't get harassed as much as weak guy
u can freak them out with ur appearance and skill lol
I have long got rid of bully problem, which occurred before I entered high school.
00:16
I hope this doesn't happens to anyone lol
But I have the problem of being harassed, which has occured probably since undergraduate school.
bullies have very good social skill
@CaptainBohemian ????? wait .... a min that's illegal
aren't undergraduate very mature
it is wierd that people harasse in undergraduate school
I though undergraduate student doesn't care who u r what u do where u live
Obscene men only harass women, l think.
and u rarely know each other there
@CaptainBohemian may be he is mentally ill
That's why only college female dorm buildings have guards 24 hours.
00:24
I thought u were a guy lol
in that case buy chilli spray
Obscene men are not necessarily your classmates.
Because university gates are opened 24hours, anyone can enter anytime.
Sounds like he does sexual harassment
worst kind of harassment
Obscene men may be adults growing from bullying boys.
00:48
more like from perverts

2 hours later…
04:26
wtf am I doing now
First Course in Probability, A
Book by Sheldon M. Ross
suks
even for a simple combinatorial identity proof he just skips lots of explanation
have to put lots of effort on it
note taking is really important
half dead right now
dude why most of math books skips lots of skip?
sometimes it becomes misleading
this is one of the examples he skips lots of question
I already understand it but it took me 30 min to dig it lol
mine explanation might be more intutive
first remove object 1 from n then we get n-1
I will may be begin with n=5
because it is too abstract right now
we got 5 balls
ball 1,2..5
remove ball one
I am kinda lazy at explanation... give up 😂😂😂
04:52
@NoseBleed Perhaps. Hypocrite is a pervert, but basically I feel he not only is an obscene man but also has some other moral problems.
he thinks people are obliged to serve his needs,
so he can insist to be a woman's boyfriend regardless of her objection and harasses her.
he insisted her mother should give him money; when she jilted him, he sued her.
he spends money quite fast, probably partly because he smokes very frequently.
but he can't find a job easily.
@CaptainBohemian may be one day he will be homeless and learn something or it will lead him to commit a great crime
I hope u can get rid of him soon also stay away from him
@NoseBleed Yesterday he commented on a picture I posted on Facebook, kind of perturbing me.
if it gets more escalated then u call cops
change ur account name
don't let him find u
he is in my Facebook friend list.
05:07
u can block him
he can't see u
in the past, I didn't know he is an obscene man, so accepted his friend request.
can block
I didn't know he is an obscene man until going to his home.
because he always pretends to be a gentleman when in public places.
it's very ironic he lives in a building with guard but he himself is a dangerous man who would harass women.
I have ignored his message on facebook.
now it sounds more like spoiled brat
he claimed he got mental illness because he was harassed by a male teacher in his school.
come on
few men would be harassed by men.
05:16
@CaptainBohemian,s
This will go on
Until you hit him hard
😁
it is hard to change people nowadays so be the change
when in primary school or junior high school, bullying boys may bully boys or girls, but when in adulthood, it's generally obscene men only harass women.
be defensive
@CaptainBohemian generally not true
in universities, male dormitory buildings are opened without guards 24 hours, so anyone can enter.
while female dormitory buildings have gate control with guards 24 hours, and any male non-inhabitant needs to apply to enter.
@NoseBleed that's the manifestation that obscene men generally only harass women.
05:36
then female are having more secured place lol
@CaptainBohemian well there are news that men harass men
also women harass men
woman harassing woman
obsence doesn't imply man is not gay obsence men
I have only been harassed by men, never women.
I never see a woman likely harassing me.
@NoseBleed but men have stronger physical force than women, so they can always fight away women, if any, likely harassing them.
05:52
but I feel it's rare a woman would harass a man because most women are not lecherous; there is a men preponderance in lechery over women.
@NoseBleed I wish I can be a woman like her.
Everyone wish but very few does
the second video title is misleading
I think fighting skills are very useful
@NoseBleed indeed, especially when it comes to coping with obscene men.
I am hungry now.
@CaptainBohemian have a nice lunch.
06:03
obscene men are the most despicable people I have met.
need to do some programming so later ;)
I hate them.
need to do some assignment later.
may be buddha will have better answer on this than me XD
he is smartarse

2 hours later…
07:35
So hot.
08:02
@JohnRennie Sir putting the bed sheet on your bed/mattress is a very hard task. How do you manage it?
@Knight I used fitted sheets.
@JohnRennie Then how do you change them when they get dirt?
Well, I use a fitted sheet for the bottom sheet. The top sheet is just a regular sheet. Is making the bed that hard?
@Knight A fitted sheet has elastic round the edges that holds it to the mattress. You take it off to wash it as usual, but when you're putting it back on the elastic holds it in place and makes it very easy.
I'm not getting you, can you send an image of your bed?
I got you!
Sorry
Diapers :-)
08:07
LOL
Yes, they got elastics and we have to make the mattress wear that sheet
That shows how a fitted sheet works.
YEAH
As it is hot these days, what you use to cover yourself when sleeping?
Do you got some very think blankets?
@Knight what's $\Sup()$
busy on you multivariable calculus?
@Knight it's not that hot in the UK. About 20°C.
@NoseBleed SUP means supremum, the maximum value of a set
@JohnRennie Oh!
I really dislike those humid weather.
08:15
@Knight lol
well... that's my mathematical way to say how have u been
@NoseBleed Oh! I'm good! How are you?
@Knight ctrl+c ctrl+v
ctrl doesn't work on mac, command is the key in mac
windows is universal 👨‍✈️
@Knight you install windows in mac
and paint commands
make it ctrl
then here u go
@NoseBleed When last time did you go to school?
08:23
@Knight I don't remember... today-5 days days and u?
why is did gates created windows? why not gate
@NoseBleed Is your school still open?
In this pandemic too?
yep
but as a reminder my country is developed one not from Africa
Salute to your school, well I should have concluded this by seeing you
@NoseBleed WHAT does that mean?
@Knight I don't live in developing country
But you're a very bright student
08:27
0 covid 19 cases
due to lack investiagtions?
2 new cases
@Knight nooo....... way
0 cases because of tight security
BTW I always feel dumber than other lol
@Knight U r bright one too
@NoseBleed You're like my school buddies.
since u r learning undergraduate courses
08:30
@CaptainBohemian Hello! Tell us about your sister
@NoseBleed How does that make us brighter?
I feel I am smarter than others since high school.
@Knight may be u r hmmmm.... brighter in RGB value
high saturation levels too
@NoseBleed How much biceps you got? (tell me in cm)
Because I feel great sense of achievement in deriving physics since then.
@Knight 2 cm 😂😂😂
nearly a string
Skinny bicep
08:33
lol
@CaptainBohemian What were your UG subjects?
now I am saying width
height is 1 feet
1.5 feet approximately
haven't calculated the error bound
oh I see! you have dual nature
@Knight physics.
@CaptainBohemian Okay
how about ur biceps
in cm as metric
08:38
Probably 10cm
how much weight can ur bicep handle
But I enjoy more in graduate studies
@NoseBleed I can't keep my 4 years old niece (she got birthday today) on my one arm.
@CaptainBohemian Yeah they are more focused on research
@Knight lol
do u guys smoke?
I do smoke
2 times a day at least
@NoseBleed NO
@NoseBleed As a friend, I want to say don't do it.
It's addictive
08:49
I smoke 2nd hand
which means I smell other smoking actually my parents
can't avoid it
I see those beautiful multidimensional vortex street
HAHHAHAHHA
Osborne Reynolds was addicted to look at it
turbulent flow
I'll see you later pal
@Knight k m8
have fun
09:15
@JohnRennie hi):
@Knight answer is $\frac{sec(\theta)}{2}$
Since when is smoking offensive?
@NoseBleed then you'd better keep away from your parents when they are smoking.
Hypocrite's home is also ridden with second hand smoke.I hate it.
09:45
can anyone tell which property is used in first line?
@CaptainBohemian ;) yep.
Finally I got defeated and started to write notes lol
ross book is clever but it skips lots of step
fk ross
reviewing is so painful in this book after u understand and u easily forget them u need to think again
taking note is really helpful to allocate information
very bad memory we got as human
@user69608 ....?
I didn't understand the question
@NoseBleed what?
@user69608 first line?
I forgot lots of things from conic section
09:53
@LeakyNun ,he's 17!
OA.OC=OB.OD which property is that?
I have learn that in triangle geometry don't remember a lot
;_;
@user69608
@Arjun ?
10:01
what is .
multiplication?
@user69608, see if this helps
Theorem 3
@Arjun thanks
@user69608 ,NP
@NoseBleed ok thanks
10:15
or u mean AA postulate
I think I should upgrade my memory
how do I do that
;_;
I wish I have photographic memory
When I was younger I always learned math as I could derive it in future if world ends and now I am here as an absentminded idiot 😂😂😂
10:37
@user69608 I will check my work once again
I would be happy if there is someone to listen to whatever I want to talk and give me useful feedback.
do u guys take notes?
@CaptainBohemian of course
@LeakyNun Hello! Glad to have you here
@JohnRennie Sir is there any simulation about the motion of the Center of Mass of a triangle when it rolls.
The Center of Mass of a circular disk follows a straight path when the disk rolls, but how will the COM of triangle move?
10:56
@user69608 I made a silly mistake, when I took $2m_1m_2$ I still wrote it as -1 but it should have been +1. Now, I have corrected it, but my answer is $\frac{3\sec \theta}{2}$
11:15
@Knight if ax+by+c=0 and 2x+3y+1=0 are both same then a/2=b/3=c/1 and not a=2,b=3
11:56
which property is used in first line?
@Knight when the triangle is rotating around a vertex, the COM moves in a circular arc. When a flat side of the triangle reaches the ground, the COM starts to move in the next circular arc. THe result is something like $\cap\cap\cap\dots$
12:18
@user69608 Well $a$ can be 2 and $b$ can be 3. That’s why I wrote can in my answer.
@CalvinKhor Is that a $\sin^2$ curve?
@Knight but thats why getting wrong. and if doing by taking ratio it becomes lenghty
@user69608 Who’s getting wrong?
@Knight answer is $\frac{sec(\theta)}{2}$
@user69608 That’s your book’s answer. Book’s answer doesn’t mean a right answer
If you can find a mistake in the answer which I wrote, you’re most welcome.
@Knight this is for a particular case,and we want that which is for all cases
12:26
@user69608 All cases should agree with a particular case, isn’t it?
@Knight thats why i said its getting lenghty if doing by taking ratio
You can let people of “Mathematics” room to check my answer, ask them if what I did was not allowed.
@user69608 Not lengthy, you won’t get it by that way.
@Knight there is no mention that $2c_1c_2$ is 1.
@user69608 I never said it is 1
@Knight directly equating meant so
12:29
@user69608 Please write down the step where I assumed that, it’s hard to understand what you’re saying
@user69608 please consider doing by this
If you think my solution isn’t correct, I am ready to accept flaws in it but please let someone point out the mistake in it.
Ask someone from “Mathematics” or “Basic Mathematics” to check it.
what you are meaning is that if ax+by+c=0 and 2x+3y+1=0 are same then a=2,b=3 if and only if c is 1. but i never said c is 1.
@user69608 Well $c$ can be 1
can be
Because you said they are same
The actual condition for both of them to be same is $$\lambda (ax +by +c)= 2x +3y +1$$ and I chose $\lambda$ to be 1
@Knight no, the curve would definitely not be a $C^1$ curve
12:36
@CalvinKhor What is $C^1$?
also there are no parts of the graph of sin^2 that are circular arcs
I mean circular arcs in the precise sense of "part of a perfectly round circle"
$f\in C^1$ means $f$ is continuous, $f'$ exists, and $f'$ is also continuous
I thought COM will follow a cycloid trajectory when a triangle gonna roll over a smooth horizontal surface
what is cycloid?
the COM moves in a perfect circle until it reaches flat side hits the table
no, it does not move in a cycloid
it moves with perfect circular arcs
because the vertex it is rolling on does not move
so it is like you're rotating a stiff rod around a point
12:41
@CalvinKhor I thought all the vertices of triangle will move. Why a vertex need to be fixed?
When a triangle rolls, two vertices swing in the air, while one is fixed
if the vertex in contact with the ground moves, this is not rolling, this is slipping
@user69608 ...?
@CalvinKhor Yes. But isn’t the vertex which is fixed now going to move
?
at the point when the grounded vertex becomes airborne, the gradient loses continuity
12:45
this is not directly related
the ground is not flat
and there is no easy way to see the COM
Yes I agree
I think Calvin, I need to consider it more carefully.
find a square and roll it down a slope
and record it using the slo-mo of your iphone
Vertex is not fixed to the ground
12:53
it is
it is exactly fixed to the ground as I described
at some point the flat side reaches the floor
then it becomes airborne, and another vertex is fixed to the ground
Oh yeah
there are times where two vertices touch the ground. in between two consecutive such times, every point of the square moves in circular motion
I think COM will go only up from it’s actual position (when the square was on it’s flat base), COM won’t go down from that point
that can't be true because the square's vertical motion is periodic
also, that would imply that, if you rolled a square back and forth over and over, the COM would fly to + infinity in height, which is absurd
I think you’re right, I need to analyse it more carefully. I shall discuss it after sometime, when I have analysed it properly.
12:57
or tends to some limit at least. but thats not the case
sure
Thanks
@Knight
couldn't be bothered to center it perfectly so the third vertex in the air doesn't lie on the inner circle, even though it should be
13:30
I want to eat again.
I need food every 6 hours.
If there is an automaton serving me food every 6 hours, I would feel less trouble.
not counting sleep?
or do you sleep for ≤6 hours
Sleeping seems not to affect my regular food demand.
I would wake up by hunger if I sleep for too long.

Q: If $|z|^2+\bar{A}z^2+A(\bar{z})^2+B\bar{z}+\bar{B}z+c=0$ represents a pair of intersecting lines.... find the value of |A|.

user69608 If $|z|^2+\bar{A}z^2+A(\bar{z})^2+B\bar{z}+\bar{B}z+c=0$ represents a pair of intersecting lines with angle of intersection $'\theta'$ then find the value of |A|. I tried using general equation of straight line in complex form as $a\bar{z}+\bar{a}z+b=0$ where b is real,where slope of line is $\...

@CalvinKhor hi i have some doubts from the answer can you help?
hi
what doubts, which answer
first answer. why he ommited $B\bar{z}+z\bar{B}+c$ for lines intersecting at origin
13:43
these are two lines in the complex plane?
also, you shouldn't accept an answer that you do not understand
@CalvinKhor i was just asking him
unaccepted lol!
lol
well i havent tried, but i bet, if you take the equation with no $B\bar{z}+z\bar{B}+c$, and replace $z$ with $z+w$, you will see an equation of the original form, where $B$ and $c$ are some functions of $w$
$w$ an arbitary complex number, i was gonna suggest $z_0$ but that's a lot of symbols to write over and over again
His Majesty the King Calvin of Malaysia. Greetings!
13:50
lol
hi and brb sry
your sacred presence makes this room majestic
long live the lord
Your mere presence is filled with blessing of mine XD
Your presence makes me have faith in humanity
yeah i got it why he ommited
Letting $z=(e)^(iα/2)w$ moves the two lines into the w-plane without changing the angle of the intersection. i dont understand this line
I am really too tired to teach and explain anything here lol. How do you have so much energy to teach @CalvinKhor
Though it makes u more Proficient by teaching things
I have duck to explain everything
@CaptainBohemian take a rest
