A: Which group of currently active Hindus (not necessarily a sect) reject the least from the totality of Hindu scripture?

Ikshvaku Which group of currently active Hindus (not necessarily a sect) reject the least from the totality of Hindu scripture? Yes, orthodox Hindus (Sri Vaishnavas) reject the least from Hindu scripture. Neo-Vedantins/neo-Hindus (Vivekananda brand) reject the most from Hindu scripture. They rejec...

'Arya Samaj also reject a lot. They have a lot of hatred towards the Manusmriti, and they reject many of the upanishads as man made.' - this is extra, unnecessary information not asked by OP. We should limit answers to what's asked in the question.
@sv. Ok I edited

Still has lots of Arya Samaj & neo-Hindu stuff...
@sv. I mean the question itself is about which sects reject which scriptures.

Question was, "Is there a name (not necessarily the name of a sect) for Hindus that reject the least of Hindu beliefs and practices?".. OP already knows about sects which reject smritis, Puranas, etc.

@sv. Except arya samaj doesn't reject Manu smriti. Infact they glorify it. Though they have their own versions for scriptures like Manu Smriti and even Gita.
@sv. Question would then seem pretty trivial. Obviously orthodox followers reject the least by definition of the word orthodox. So I explained who exactly this is and compared it to other sects.
@RishX Oh really? Ok I'll edit the answer
@Ikshvaku yes.Arya samaj is perhaps the only reformist Hindu sect which openly praises "their" Manu Smriti. I think Vaishnava organizations like ISKCON and BAPS follow it too. Not really sure though.
Their Manu srmiti? Is there another one?
@Wikash_ He means they have very twisted interpretations of the manusmriti, almost as if it's another text.
@SK Tell me who else cites the "itihasa puranabhyam...." verse to interpret vedas?
@SK We arrive at that religious conclusion based on what scripture says, not justify our prior beliefs based on shoehorning an interpretation.

scripture in no way shape or form says all Gods in Rig Veda are Vishnu. "Ekam sat" doesn't mean what south india vaishnavites think it means. their whole edifice of sectarianized hinduism is based on Mahopanishad that appeared 2500 years after Rig Veda.

Arya Samaj has not twisted interpretations on Manusmriti. They have rejected half of it as interpolations.
@Wikash_ yes they have their own "shuddh" manu smriti where they have removed the verses which doesn't suit their philosophy. Not only Manu Smriti, they even did the same with epics and Gita.
That's ridiculous you cannot just remove verses.
@SK Not just Mahopanishad but also Narayana Upanishad and Mahanarayana Upanishad.

@Ikshvaku You are only partly correct. Right from Rig veda, Satapatha brahmana, Aitareya brahmana, Vishnu was always considered supreme.
