but we do have one. https://literature.stackexchange.com/q/1974/289
Maybe retap that one to have [tag:star-wars] instead of the more elaborate one it currently sports?

Golly I’ve no idea how to edit or format chat messages on my phone, it turns out
formatting doesn't work in multi-line messages

@verbose Ooooh, solo upright bass sounds COOL
@Tsundoku In order, Assisi, Florence, Verona, and Milan

@verbose Oh, I'd forgotten about that question! Yeah, good idea I think. It'd make sense to have a single tag for all literature in the Star Wars universe, and I doubt it'd confuse anyone into thinking that all Star Wars media is on-topic here. @Tsundoku what do you reckon?
That's pretty good solution actually
Maybe we can also clarify in the tag that it's meant for question about Star Wars literature and not anything specific regarding the movies or video games or what not
@Alex For a long time I tried to keep my answer count above my question count, then at some point I realised "screw it, this is keeping me from contributing as many questions to the site as I'd like".
I think I let them both hit some significant number together, like 250? I probably have a screenshot of it somewhere.
I actually have a lot more answers here on this site than I thought
Rand what was the site stat thing that shows the distribution of your reputation I forgot how much of my rep is inflated from tags xD
Is it about half my rep?
Yes
So indeed little under half of my reputation IS are from edits xD

Great late answer from Gareth, deserves more upvotes.
I was going to accept it, then realised that's not my question :-D Must've been a different "did famous work X plagiarise" question that I asked.
That IS a very good answer wow

Q: Interpreting a mention of Tolstoy in Revenge Fable (from Crow) by Ted Hughes

HeyJudeTolstoy appears in one of Ted Hughes' Crow poems, called Revenge Fable. Here is the first half of the poem (bolded, full text here): Revenge Fable There was a person Could not get rid of his mother As if he were her topmost twig. So he pounded and hacked at her With numbers and equations and law...

@Randal'Thor Thanks! There's a lesson here about the perils of summarizing your sources instead of quoting them or citing individual claims.
The other answer to the question uses a passage from Palacios (1919), La escatologia musulmana en la Divina comedia, p. 88 as translated and quoted in Guenon (1925), The Esoterism of Dante, pp. 35–36, to justify claims about similarities between the Kitab al-Miraj and the Divine Comedy.
But on inspection, Palacios did not mention the Kitab al-Miraj at all. In the passage in question, Palacios summarizes the similarities between the Divine Comedy and any of the texts of the Islamic eschatological tradition, with particular reference to the Futuhat al-Makkiyah of Ibn Arabi.
I don't want to be too hard on the other answer, as it is easy to make mistakes when approaching a complex topic. However, the use of summarization and the collection of references into a general list, as opposed to the quotation of one's sources and the citation of individual claims, makes mistakes hard for readers to spot.

Q: Meaning of "Mother darling" in The Catcher in the Rye

my name depends on youIn chapter 4 of The Catcher in the Rye, Here: What I did was, I pulled the old peak of my hunting hat around to the front, then pulled it way down over my eyes. That way, I couldn't see a goddam thing. "I think I'm going blind," I said in this very hoarse voice. "Mother darling, everything's get...

@DLosc Deep down, it's not that everything is poetry but that everything can be read as if it were poetry.

@PrinceNorthLæraðr that would be an odd way to slice a tag. should be about the whole franchise, including books and movies and TV series, some of the questions would just be off-topic.

Q: What does “be one traveler” mean?

AlexIn “The Road Not Taken”, the first stanza reads as follows: Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, / And sorry I could not travel both / And be one traveler, long I stood / And looked down one as far as I could / To where it bent in the undergrowth; For some reason I recollected the third line as...
