@DoubleU Answered questions can still be closed, so technically it's not "too late".

So... am I going to receive a point for helping to analyze the homework assignment? I mean, this is a literature SE. If it's not about the literature, then it's about helping people find methods to understand literature, including drawing Venn Diagrams and Bubble Diagrams.
The "Chinese literature" questions also seem pretty basic. TBH, the questions as of now can be answered either by knowing the Chinese language+culture+society or knowing something about translation issues. However, they do give me insight in how a monolingual English speaker think.

Q: Trying to find a book from the 2000s geared towards young adult/teens

NicoleI just remembered this book series that I read as a teen. I can’t remember the name of them and it’s killing me! I know this a long shot but here it goes: It’s about a girl going to college (or it could also have been some sort of private high school that has dorms). Weird events start happening...

@DoubleU Asking for votes on SE is rarely a good way to get them. You just need to wait and see if people upvote or not.
FWIW, I've appreciated your answers in the tag - it's great to have a fluent (native?) Chinese speaker to resolve these questions for us - and I've upvoted several of them.
@Bookworm Even though the OP has found her answer, I've voted to close this question as too broad. "YA book series, girl in college, weird events, she tries to solve them with a friend" is practically a whole genre.
