I'm constantly floored at how much amazingly high quality writing is available for free online immediately upon its release.

There's such an inertia to the idea that only old or bad writing is available legally for free.

Okay, so if vampires are coming back, can we agree on something? I know what you mean by it, and yeah, cool, but let's not use the phrase "My vampires aren't sparkly." Literally one writer ever did sparkly vampires. Like it or not, *she* was the innovator, there.
