@Bahudari Hehe, the first suggestion is, of course, to upload the notation to some Balamurali composition, if you know one. Apart from that, also if there are any rare compositions that you have learnt, especially ones that are particular to your parampara.

@M.Vinay Hmmm, then let me pick Pantuvarali for July. I can provide the notation for a beautiful varnam in this ragam composed by my guru's guru, Shri Pallavur Mani Iyer. :)
@Bahudari Perfect!
@Bahudari But you can't truly learn Carnatic compositions by reading the notation, so you should accompany it with a personal rendition posted on YouTube : D
(That'll also help your goal of actual music practice, which simply writing down the notation is not going to do) : þ

@M.Vinay Absolutely!
@Malavika Pantuvarali would like some tea. Bahudari is more of a coffee fan. But Pantuvarali... definitely tea :P

I actually lost a whole bunch of notations I had made for some complicated pallavis of L. Shankar (aka Shenkar) when I formatted my laptop recently :'(
I had just saved them in my Notes app on my MacBook but it wasn't synced to iCloud.
Will have to redo all of them. If I did it once, I can do it again, I suppose :P
