So, I understand what you're saying

but I think pokemon-series is not so broad, really

Most mechanics don't change all that much, and when they do change it's important!

Google "pokemon evolve level 100" and this question is a pretty high result

so I feel like it's a very valuable question to include the information that the mechanism did change

particularly as someone like me - a pokémon fan who's played all the games since XY - didn't know that until I saw that (badly downvoted) answer

Given that the body only ever mentions one game, I went ahead and removed the tag

Honestly, given that the fact that the mechanics changed is pretty important, I don't think it'd be bad to post a new self-answered question just to make that information a little easier to find

It wouldn't be a "genuine" question, but self-answering is encouraged when wanting to share knowledge
