specific-question The question Summating divergent series arising from the application of the Euler-Maclaurin formula to power law functions with non-integer exponents has been bumped just now. It is missing a top-level tag - which one would be suitable there? Probably ca.classical-analysis-and-odes?

I have mentioned this here before: chat.stackexchange.com/transcript/message/40838146#40838146 But I'll try to ask again.
After the length limit for the name of tags was changed to 35 characters, names of several tags changed their names. (Perhaps I am partly responsible, but I suppose this would happen even without my suggestion.)
As a result, some links in posts on meta link to tags which no longer exist. For example, in these posts: Why are MO tags formatted as they are? and Frequently asked questions about tagging on MathOverflow. (The latter is one of the posts tagged faq.)
Certainly, I can edit those posts to make them link to the new names. But probably a more systematic solution - which would resolve the same problem if links with old names is linked also in other places - would be to create a synonym with the new name as a master tag.
So I mean synonym of the form (old-name) $\to$ (new-name). In the case of top-level tags there are only three such tags (unless I missed something).
I am not sure whether this is also that important for other tags with new names, but at least for the top-level tags there are certainly links in various places which use the old name.
@FrançoisG.Dorais Since you are the mod who renamed those tags, you are probably the right person to ask about this. What do you think about creating the synonyms mentioned above?
And since I have mentioned the tags listed among "candidates for longer names", I will add that dg-algebras and differential-graded-algebras exists as separate tags, although they are intended for the same purpose. (The tag (dg-algebras) even has a tag-excerpt.)

There might be more cases of this, but there are at least two pairs of tags which are exactly for the same thing - so perhaps creating a tag synonym would be a reasonable solution. One pair of tags is qft and quantum-field-theory. The other one is dg-algebras and differential-graded-algebras.
I suppose mods have some other stuff to do. (The issues related to the new design seem to be still unresolved.) But since you happened to visit this room after long time, I though it was worth asking about this.

new-tag A new tag rubiks-cube. I do not see previous occurrences of the tag in SEDE: data.stackexchange.com/mathoverflow/query/927958/… data.stackexchange.com/mathoverflow/query/927958/…

I see that the recent exchange in this room lead to talkative badge for András Bátkai. Congrats! (This also shows that it's worth coming to this room.)
