Would it make sense to change the names of some arXiv-style top-level tags to clarify that certain topics belong into them? E.g. change lo.logic to lo.logic-and-set-theory?

@gmvh I guess this would be a major change for a minor benefit. In any case any change that requires change of name of a frequent tag requires moderator action. And moderators are not much involved in this and when they do anything they mostly ignore what's going on here.
@gmvh one could ask about the benefit of making a synonym of . The frontier to me is unclear, it seems to me at first sight that it would be more an improvement than inconvenient, but there are more qualified users to discuss this.

@YCor I don't think that would do so well, since there are lo.logic questions that are not about set theory (but about e.g. arithmetic).

@gmvh in any case I think it's not realistic to modify the name of a top-level tag (in terms of the likeliness to reach a consensus on this). Yes, I'm aware that there are drawbacks to this synonym suggestion. In any case I don't think this top-level tag / set-theory/logic issue is that important, and there are much worse problems with tagging.

I guess could be added here: Possible cardinalities of almost disjoint families. Since it seems to be related to $\mathfrak a$, I was also thinking about - but I am less sure about this one.

Q: Possible cardinalities of almost disjoint families

Dominic van der ZypenAn almost disjoint family on $\omega$ is a set ${\cal A}\subseteq {\cal P}(\omega)$ such that every member is infinite, and whenever $a\neq b\in {\cal A}$ we have $|a\cap b|<\aleph_0$. Zorn's Lemma shows that there are maximal almost disjoint families (MADs), and they have cardinality greater tha...

@MartinSleziak Thank you very much! I do trust Dr. Caicedo's judgment I just wanted some more guidance as finding the right discipline is actually part of my problem. I really appreciate your help
@YCor that's very helpful. Thank you very much

@MartinSleziak The question has been deleted by OP, but yes, both tags would have perfectly fit
