specific-question I have added boolean-algebras tag to this question. What I wonder is whether the tag universal-algebra chosen by the OP is really suitable for that question: Complete Boolean algebra not isomorphic to a $\sigma$-algebra

Q: Complete Boolean algebra not isomorphic to a $\sigma$-algebra

Does there exist a complete Boolean algebra that is not isomorphic to any $\sigma$-algebra? If so, what is an easy or canonical example or construction?

Perhaps also examples tag would be suitable there?

Since I mentioned this tag, I am not really sure what is the actual difference between the tags examples and counterexamples.

Q: Should MO let a user's rep climb AFTER the user has been suspended?

Should MO let a user's rep climb AFTER the user has been suspended from posting new questions? Doesn't seem to make sense - not if it's the case that a suspension can never be revoked (which is what I was told by an "old-timer" here.)
