@Stefan: you can see the other question in the RSS feed for the tag. It got some downvotes and was removed by the author, but not before being included in the feed, which is what gets counted. — Zack Wolske 8 hours ago
I did not know that the number can be off for this reasons.
Indeed, there seem to be a deleted question, at the moment it is still visible in Google cache. This question was then asked on math.SE.
