Q: How can you weaponize a thermos?

Stupidzombiet Anything can be used as a weapon if need be: A person in my story uses a big steel thermos in a fight. How could she beef up the thermos to keep using it as a weapon.

It seems like a pretty terrible weapon against zombies, to be honest.
Like I said it was in a momment of desperation being attacked someone grabs it and defends themselves with one. Then cant seem to let go if it after. Getting attacked to it
You didn't mention desperation, but no matter. It is still terrible, suggesting that the answer will involve said person being eaten by zombies the next time they meet.
Add a tank too it. Then throw away the thermos
I want to clarify by "thermos" you mean the container for beverages that keeps their temperature, right? The ones that look something like this?

Fill it with anti-cola and throw it.
fill it with concrete & stick a 'stick' in the open end while the concrete's still wet, wait for concrete to dry & there you have it, a wooden handled metal sheathed concrete club, go hit someone with it.

Can you provide more details about the scenario. Like, what in general does she have access to to beef it up with (I mean, no hand grenades or anti-matter, right?). What/who is she fighting, what are the timescales involved? Does she have mere moments to prepare, minutes, hours, years?
@BMF I'm fairly sure your plan will work perfectly, up until approximately a femtosecond into the first step, when the anti-cola hits the air in the thermos, and the city you used to be standing in stops being a city and starts being a large crater.
Voting to leave open: the "zombies" tag makes it sufficiently specific, and there are reasonable answers that could be worked into a narrative.
I'm amazed that no one has mentioned the Alien 'Thermos Gun' made by Johner - alienanthology.fandom.com/wiki/Thermos_Gun

Fill it with something heavy, put it in a pillowcase, and swing it around like a flail.
Sharpen the lip and make a cookie cutter.
A thermos is just a grenade without a charge... pour in some gunpowder and win.
really, no one has thought of Captain Kirk vs the Gorn, load a makeshift projectile into the thermos along with black powder and use it as a DIY hand cannon?
Some you missed the phrase starting with “keep.”
forget the bottle part. use just the cap. (Riddick)

Anything can be used as a weapon, yes. Just not always a good weapon.
Fill it with human blood, maybe mixed with gray matter and you have a portable Zombie honey pot! It might come in handy for big waves
Are we talking a 50 litre dewar, or a 1 litre drinks canister.
Someone should send this question to Colin Furze. He would probably not only have an idea but actually make it. A thermos with a jet engine in it, perhaps. Or one that can shoot fireworks.
