Sorry to be late to the table - I'm writing tonight and just starting (sigh). I was going to take "the interview process" as a good first step. My original thought was to do the view of the person looking for the job - since we get so, so many questions around that. But I like the idea of a 2 parter.
There is still interest in hosting a community blog; however, we don't yet have enough content and writers to justify the Wordpress development for an actual Wordpress SE blog.
I still think we could eventually have a blog, but there isn't quite enough interest just yet. So, here's an alternate...
Judging by our speed, I'm not 100% sure we have enough energy behind the blog yet to sustain it. I was actually going to suggest we try a different approach and see if @bethlakshmi and others wanted to publish what they have on their personal blogs. Seems wasteful to let good content sit.
@jrg I also want to add that, if you aren't an expert on a subject, you could interview someone who is an expert and do an article on that. It would not only be a great learning experience, but it would also make for an interesting article that has more than just a single perspective.
@jmort253 I like the idea of highlighting that question, but I would say the comments discussion around closing and opening it would be more worthwhile, as the reason it was a hit was off-topic (whilst the question core was, I believe, on-topic) and that might be considered a little insensitive given the subject matter
