The theme for the April photo competition is "Fountains" (proposed by Willeke). This covers any photo of something designed to pour or jet water for artistic effect.

Thank you @MarkMayo! :) Am new to the travel stackexchange site, and it's just wonderful to be able to see so many different photos from across the globe!
@JonathanReez No - I really really hope not. Still too many people getting really ill - long term ill, and a backlog in hospitals the NHS reckons will take till 2024 to clear
@JonathanReez Thankfully here in Scotland masks are still required indoors in any public places, and on public transport, as there are still far too many vulnerable people dying
@JonathanReez It’s not travellers being singled out, it’s basic virology and how to slow the spread of diseases. Actually, I wish I was there and their measures seem to be more effective than the UK,
@menotalk @andrewgrimm clearly you guys don't like each other, but poking each other with sticks is not going to be tolerated. I suggest that you both make sure the other is on your ignore list and simply avoid talking. You'll both probably be much happier.

can I just say how awesomely quick our community is to respond to spammers? I checked a new spammy answer, it'd been up for 1 min. It had 5 downvotes already and was flagged.
@MarkMayo Just a tip: the achievement dropdown in the top bar (where you see rep changes and badge award notifications) shows the current time in UTC. Will save you from lots of conversions
@Neo I spent 3 weeks in Glasgow/Port Ellen/Bowmore/Edinburgh 2 months ago and saw zero obvious effects on tourism. I also happened to have an overnight layover in Amsterdam the day after one of KLM's major meltdowns and didn't particularly notice anything different for the one night I was in town, although I would arrive very early to AMS if you don't have some kind of priority for security lines.
If you like to avoid flying (with Schiphol, Amsterdam airport being a mess) there is a ferry from near Amsterdam to the North of England, (IJmuiden - Newcastle) with a coach connection on the Dutch side and coach to the station and train to Scotland on the UK side. Overnight ferry and needed to book ahead, as they only allow cabin passengers.
Indirect results are fuel prices which are higher than what has ever been, but different between different countries. On the radio today was mentioned that in France you pay €1.50 per liter, in the Netherlands €2 (or more) per liter. (If you are from the USA, about 4 liters to the gallon and about €1 to $US 1.)
